Its been 3 years using this phone and i only have one problem. The phones internal storage gets filled up even if I don't install any apps. I formatted the mobile completely and didn't install any apps but in two weeks the phone shows there is not internal storage memory left. All I did was install the necessary updates. But the phone memory fills up for no reason. I checked the memory using third party apps but none of them show any large files in the system, and when I calculate the total memory used it doesn't add up. Its as if there is some hidden system file that eats up the entire storage. Did any of u had such an issue before?

Bought it in summer 2017. Yesterday, a bit less than 4 years later, the battery almost blew up: it grew in size in a matter of seconds, popping out the phone case, bending the screen, and partially opening the phone - rendering the power and volume buttons unuseable as they weren't placed properly anymore.
Never mistreated it physically, and didn't use it much (it was my secondary phone, mostly used as a backup and for my rare use of WhatsApp). Maybe I had a tendency to leave it plugged in too much, although I assumed the phone would be able to regulate battery charging properly since it knew it was 100%. Anyway, less than 4 years seems a pretty short lifespan, and such a spectacular battery failure was quite scary...

my hp i buy second hand.after 1 use 6mth bttry cn't use,so went i hung i ter format everything, so now i all realrd put a new battery ,and my no also alreard expird so cn't review,now i wan 2 setting like new one,cn't coz the no old cn't use so how now i awt 2 make new accn for gloogle..plez help me.

waiting for my bn30 battery to arrive as old battery bloated again. have been using this phone for 4 years with 1 free battery change within the first year of warranty due to bloated battery. this phone is amazing still works and after battery change expect another 2-3 years of service. slight damage to lcd housing edge as i use screwdriver to remove to see the inside before i buy the battery online. keekeekee :D

been using it for more than 4 years. Charging only takes 1-2 hours at the most depending on the remaining battery and charger. I'm using an original charger.
Not recommended if you use it like watching videos or playing high resolution games for too long because it will make it hot.
Great for everyday use and for playing low-resolution games. Doesn't excel at multi tasking

It is still good after 3 years but the 16gb internal storage is a thing. Many things cant be stored in external storage. I cant download apps anymore and always need to clean up. This give me reasons to change to new phone

The only Redmi A series who still have Gyroscope
Storage plays the great role for this phone (yeah it often got a space storage issue)

I have used this phone from 2017, very good phone despite it's just a entry level, the 720p is just enough to enjoy hd videos, the performance is delay sometimes, install Pixel Experience rom can fix this problem, just change the battery and you can feel battery life just like new again, I just used it for lite gaming

Using this phone since like 3-4 years a go. And never have a serious problem with this. This phone is really great, with affordable price but very good quality.

Using this phone since June 2017 still rocking it now as my secondary phone and have to say it's an amazing phone. Very Durable & Long Lasting, performance is still pretty good, software performance is just great if you can tweak some things like installing Pixel Experience ROM or whatever, but yeah even in its official ROM it's pretty damn good. Camera was decent at it's time. The only thing that degraded over the last 3 years is the battery which is normal. Overall very very happy with it. :)

I was using this phone for almost 3 years, then give it to my brother few month ago and still rockin' to this day. The main concern i had was i run out of internal storage easily after a few apps installed, since the one i owned was the 2/16gb variant. For 2/32gb variant is still usable.

Still using this phone until now 2020, it's a phone suited for rooted! Durable and awesome......
