Readmi 5 has lower volume output through headphone jack which was initailly the case with mi max global version 3 gb , 32 gb rom. It was the rom bug which was preventing the actual volume, but after the update it became fixed . Is this the same issue with readmi 5 as well ? or your company just built it that way? If you lower your volume at such a dramatic range then it is completely disappointing . Please, fix the issue. we are hoping for the best on behalf of all xiaomi users.

the phone so far easy to use, all updated , nice picture , except for the volume not that loud..otherwise everything looks ok for me if compared to huawei .

the radio is not supported by MI at all. they don't say on their site it has a radio because it doesn't work.

Jaydev, 09 Aug 2018WhyWell, I bought the 16gb version of redmi 5 with 2gb ram. Performance is awesome but 32gb will be better for more storage and 3gb ram is faster to gaming and other stuff.

Hounest review about Reshmi 5.
I m using this phone remains A week and my background profile was an research & dowelopment engg in Smartphones. Or an Android developer also.
First best thing about this phone is Very new Snapdragon 450 (14nm) CPU with andrino 506 gpu superb performance aver. And good bettery backup also.
2nd thin is MIUI Rom with low power consumption module. That's 2 things are going to make a valuable bettery life of the phone approx 2 to 3 days.
3rd thing is that Samsung A6+ also have the same Cpu SDM 450 (14nm) but price is too Hi.
4th thing is that it's camera. After change some settings no found any problem in camera about this price sagment....If you waiting for reshmi 6 pro, MI A2 lite don't wait for it because it's have SDM 625 but not have new technology like low power consumption. Also don't have MIUI Rom. Stock android will big better sucker always....So just go for it. And one more thing in upcoming day's it will got Update of MIUI 10 with Oreo 8.1....Best of luck dear friends.

i dont know but this phone is faster than 5 plus ....i hv both ..but this is more friendly and great in gripping ....although 5 plus cam is slightly better even both hv same sensor...
