Audio was distorted when recording video in noisy environments such as nightclubs, concerts, etc. I bought the 32/3GB variant and considering the 149 USD price tag it was not an issue for me. If you're a party animal, don't buy this phone.

Does anyone have heating problem?
When I shake my mobile I hear some sound, like tick,tick sound, like a sound of a part touching somewhere.
Does any one feel like this ?

I have watched some videos online about Redmi 5 coz I'm kinda confused with the low resolution and absence of full HD and it seems like there are pixels on screen. Is that something that is noticeable in person??

AnonD-746613, 24 Mar 2018How does the display feel compared to 4x?Way better . I remember the 4X was not pleasant for my eye . It lacked that spark . With Redmi 5 if you pump up the brightness, there is this extra spark which is appealing.

Why this phone a better buy than other high end/costlier 4G phones?
It's a blunder to spend above 10000 to buy a 4G phone at this stage because from next year onwards 5G phone will start coming in the market. Remember Airtel already started testing in 5G network to overcome the threat from Jio, but Jio is saying their network is already 5G compatible. So for those who have a working 4G phone, it will be an absolute wastage of money to buy a new 4G phone now. And for those do not have working 4G phone, Redmi 5 will be a smart option, as you will get good 4G phone under 9000 that can be easily last for next 2 years.
