Seems I was just unlucky with the buy
But am already negative about the brand

Using this device with PixelExperience 9.0 Android rom,for about 4 months and all works perfect,including portrait photo mode,slow motion cam,face unlock,SOT is very nice,charging good,sound quality and strength are good,incall volume is also good...And I payed him last year about 135 eur.

From an old Mi user, Mi 8 Lite is way better, but 5 plus is a little bit faster in performance! now you can get the phone you want tho, but you still can pick up between 5 plus and mi 8 Lite.. (5 plus has more battery life and more like apps life, but mi 8 lite has more rams so can support more stuff at once, that's the only difference between those two) your choice!

My little brother has a Note 5. It's a great phone, but the Note 7 is greater. Get the Note 5 as a cheaper option for a weaker camera.

I'm torn between Redmi note 7 or Mi 8 Lite but I read in Redmi Note 7 comments that he/she still prefer 5plus over RN7. Any opinions?

I had the 32G 3G ram version for over a year now, reset it after 12 months, honestly this phone surprised me, it's battery is great, screen is very nice if the brightness is turn up, the only down side is the camera is like an IPhone 6. It's tough too !

After about a year of owning this smartphone it finally broke yesterday. /data is not readable when i go to setup screen it just stop working, if i try to install a rom on it it says an error about /data and /storage i will not buy xiaomi smartphone again.

I have the redmi 5 plus for 5 months and after the first 3 months of purchase i noticed a small yellow spot on the top right corner of the screen above the volume buttons where it displays the time.
Please let me know if there is any way to fix it or if its better to send it to the warranty dealer for a screen replacement if the screen is the problem.
