The finterprint sensor is crap - not working 4 times out of 5. The build quality is mediocre (some particle or detail is maybe loose at the top, so it makes sound when hit), the software is awful: I cannot change my password because "Security" shuts down. The camera hangs up occasionally too.

Bought this phone in 2018 may for about 150€.
Had input lag before in Android 9 and MIUI11. Was thinking maybe the cpu is bugged or something. After warranty ended I flashed rom and upgraded to max, started experiencing same issues. Flashed again sometime later and stayed in android 7 and everything works like charm. No general or input lag in 7. So do not upgrade to the max If you want smoothness.
Battery-wise recently got even 3 full days without a charge, averagly 2 days. Everything else works as it should. Probably going to use it until the battery wores out because cant find enough narrow phone for a reasnoable price.

Still using it, with MIUI 12.5 (Android 10) custom rom. No issues and lags. Battery still lasts a day.

I bought a 2nd hand for $72 with a 4GB/64GB configuration, it was also unlocked so it was easy to flash a custom Recovery & ROM, using it for business purposes and it really works well, Google Camera improves a ton

your mom fat, 19 Feb 2021planning on buying it, hope it's worthedIf you do beware of fake roms . And don't update your phone to miui 11 - it is disastrous. Stay in miui 9 to enjoy smoothness. Xiaomi has stopped giving support to this device so I advise you to buy Redmi note 9 pro .
