        So if i'm correct in understanding, updating a device shouldnt be a problem if its on global rom anywhere in the world no matter if the region is different to where its originally bought from? Theres no regioning on xiaomi devices, correct? (Well besides for china)

Faster UI plus a candidate for upgrading to Android P AFAIK. Even if it's not going to be I would still choose this over the other phone. 5 Plus is only good for 18:9 "trendy" display.

                                        Suggestion for all users. Do not go for update 9.5.4.0.

                                        Battery got worse. I used to have 11-12 hours screen on time easily, now it's like barely 8. All other things are quite okay, camera is average.
