Is there anyone here having issue on the touchscreen. It suddenly not responding on any apps. Need to turn on/off the screen to make it work again. I've done factory reset and remove the tempered glass installed, even updated to the latest software but still getting the same issue. twrp mode still suffers. I think the problem lies in the bootloader. Survey in redmi 5 plus group, many people are touch bug...plz help me Xiaomi ..

definitely something wrong with the phone, my phone with usage, last at least 2 days, usually up to 3 days,
what is the version of rom? fake roms drain battery so fast,
try to update the phone, the latest version is V9.5.4.0.NEGMIFA
if you are on the latest version, do a reset factory, it can help sometimes (note, factory reset will wipe your data, back up first)

My fone is having an issue , volume buttons aren't working just after a month, when i reboot the fone , they start working but after sometime they don't..though hardware is fine bcz i can take screenshots and other tasks as well,
Any1 got some solution?

The phone is better than I expected. Fast, reliable.
However the battery life is very short despite 4000mah capacity.
My son is not using it much, sometimes he leaves it at home. Even without using it it barely stays over a day. I am very dissapointed. Mine is 64/4 model. Anybody else having this issue can help me about this issue?

Hello GSMArena I think U should fix the name of this phone, it should be Redmi 5 Plus (Redmi Note 5 India) because at the global market beside India this phone is known as Redmi 5 Plus not Redmi Note 5. Redmi Note 5 for global market is Redmi Note 5 China/AI its do have a similar specs with Redmi Note 5 Pro but with minor differences on camera specs and OS versions.

1- I have lots of online shopping experience, almost on any site, but aliexpress is my favorite, i trust them more than amazon, everything is clear, i buy with my credit card, any problem they will solve it, they wont pay your money to the seller, until you are satisfied.
Idk how long it will take to Albania, usually between 15-25 days
2- currently there is no phone can compete with this one, when you think of value for money this phone is the best. everything perfect, just the camera is not that much amazing
3- it depends on your usage, what is your current phone's storage? for me 32/3 is enough for my daily usage, some people do play games or want to save lots of music so they need 64gb, price difference is not much, 180$ for 64/4 is good investment, you wont regret buying this phone

Been using this phone for 4 weeks now:
Pros:
good gaming experience due to big screen (18:9)
fast finger print sensor (the moment i place my finger there, phone unlock immediately)
can enable swipe gestures and remove soft keys (full screen without buttons below)
can enable dual app (duplicate the same app in another separate data)
battery last long (stream drama up to 8hrs used up less than 50% battery)
front flash selfie light
Cons:
mostly videos not 18:9 supported ( will have extra black screen at the sides)
Camera is bad, most of the pictures i took are blur even tho it is clear in the screen
these are what i can think of at the moment..

Fingerprint on my 4/64 running 9.2.3.0 unlock the phone maybe on every 10th try sometimes not at all. Problem on both fingers, something is in the software.
