nikolashtip, 02 Feb 2018Can`t decide which one to buy Redmi 5 Plus or Mi A1 some us... moreIf you want stock Android and can't take MIUI, then go for Mi A1. Mi A1 also has slightly better rear camera.
Other than that Redmi 5 Plus is better with better battery life, bigger screen at almost the same footprint. And the trendy 18:9 display that will make you feel 16:9 is too small because it gives you more screen real estate.
But Mi A1 will have better software support and will be less pain in the a$$ because you don't have to deal with "Chinese" or "Global" ROM. Right now Redmi 5 Plus only has Chinese version with Chinese ROM only. There are some sellers on AliExpress that flash a fake global ROM and some people have even got their phone bricked because of that fake ROM. So either wait for the real global version of Redmi 5 Plus or you'll have to unlock the bootloader (which will take 15 days) and then flash the Global ROM whenever it's available. So keep this in mind when choosing between these phones.
For me I think it's worth it but you may not want to deal with such stuff so either wait for Global version or just get the Mi A1.

I have bouth Mi A1 has better camera specialy in low light with portret mode also. A1 has type C port. If care about camera than A1. The rest is I found beter by redmi 5 plus. Specialy design.

The first photo in every pair is taken with the stock miui cam on auto. As you can see, the stock camera is pretty good in good to decent lighting conditions, however in low light, google camera is far superior.

I want to know if the cell phone has compass Sensors or not .........
Full phone specifications in GSMArena.com tell that this phone has compass Sensors but in other sites no compass Sensors in this phone !!!!
