I love redmi phone, they are just so worth having... not over priced, and I don't really need to have the highest and latest Processor to run heavy task.
My only request is please add NFC to your redmi phones...

@Lindie5Tech That slight bump in clockspeed is going to do shit all... if you're going to spend another ~$200 USD for a theoretical 10% increase in CPU performance and a slight GPU bump, then YOU are the exact reason they find no need to upgrade the hardware...

Uggg... Really?! Another Snapdragon 625... Its 2018! Yes, the 625 is power efficient and moderately snappy, but Xiaomi should've used at least the Snapdragon 626 or 630 as a motive to upgrade from a Note 4 if the user wanted more horsepower. Overall happy but disappointed in the processor that Xiaomi has kept.

which one will you advice to someone who does Ecommerce and uses his phone a lot for business activities. Cuz that implies the phones got to work under stress too right? needs a good camera display for shooting, a recent android version that can be updated and a good battery life.

The SoC is exactly the same, Snadragon 625, which can handle most tasks. The battery capacity is overall the same at 4000mAH. But the Redmi 5 plus has a newer design and should get Android Oreo(8.0), while the Redmi Note 4X is older and will be stuck on Android Nougat(7.0).The camera on the Redmi 5 Plus has got a 3MP bump. So get the Xiaomi redmi 5 plus if you can afford it, though if you cant get the much cheaper Note 4X if your low in the bank...
