Sahil, 06 Apr 2018Is this a good phone for parents .I actually bought this phone for my mother. I'd say it's a good phone for basic use, take note of the storage size which means you can't install much. Good camera but I wouldn't know about low light photography, I haven't tried for this one. I installed all the essential apps and chose lite apps wherever possible.

Just bought it for my mother in law for 90 €. Everything works like a charm, it's a bit faster and smoother then my good old Redmi 3. MIUI on Android 7.1 is clearly better optimized than on 5.1. A bit lighter also because of a plastic back but build is great.

OMG I had no idea xiaomi is this much good, this is a entry level phone but performance are really good. They provide almost every app that anyone will use. Not like other companies, I had to pay for those apps. Wft double tap option I can't believe. I was going to buy lg for that option but I saw redmi can do that. Really nice mobile. I'm saying lot because I'm fan of apple, Sony. They really need to learn from xiaomi.
