Xiaomi is making the people fools. Just because they cant provide update to Redmi 4a They are trying to impose a whole new device. the only difference between 5a and 4a is MIUI 9 and Android Marshmallow with some fake promises like extra battery life. They should have done it to 4a through update.

Have all it needs to be a good cheap android phone for allround daily needs.

You can do anything a high end flagship is capable of with any cheap phone. The only difference is that you spend more money to the so called Iphone or S8 and experience problems that an ordinary phone doesnt have.

I don't get it. Using GSMArena to do comparison between the Redmi 5a and the Redmi 4a, the specs are almost exactly the same. They only updated the OS and MIUI software that's it. Even the chip is using the same Snapdragon 425 between this year model 5a and last year 4a model? Am i missing something?
