Instead of buying this, better opt for 7a or 8a series.
One can wait for few months then 9 of the series too would be available.

roy, 07 Apr 20204G in 1 sim at a time, + 3GBoth the SIM cards on this phone support 4G network.
SIM 1 or SIM 2 both can give you 4g internet on this phone.

So glad to own this phone. For the price, this is gem. It is smooth nice look elegant and feel prenium. No overheating issue, fast(if turn off all animation). The speaker is loud and clear. Except for the Mi Browser. It slow. Currently I'm using Ecosia as my default browser. So, I can plant trees with it!

I've been using redmi 5A frm january 2018 until now. I'm glad and happy with this phone. After upgraded to MIUI 11 this phone become more and more better,great,smooth and 👍👍👍. I am very satisfied. So far no problem. Really ❤❤❤ it so much.

* Gboard (Official Google Keyboard) started to crash, this impacted the unlock screen as well since the keyboard to type in the unlock code was not appearing all the time. Replacing the keyboard with a different one solve the issue
* UI changes, icons changed shape and there are some new animations
* Some new ringtones (with specific theme)

It gets everything done, although it's not as quick as some more expensive phones. Build quality is quite poor. The headphone jack on mine never worked well, headphone plugs just pop out. Now after 1,5 years the USB socket stopped working properly.

this phone is doing good i use it for codm and got no lag on multiplayer the problem is only when i come to br the ping about 100 but for pubg or ml it gonna rock it for daily use i can get 2 day atleast if u only whatsapp and scrolling ig.the camera is the best and now it can be update to 10 miui

have it since march 2018. The charging port is gone. Can't charge it anymore. Must buy another phone.
