*Based on Android Oreo 8.0.
*New generation of MIUI.
*Low cost smartphone.
Bad features---
x Not with fingerprint sensor.
x Weak battery Capacity(3000mAh).
x Not Support Infared port.
x slow facial Recognation.
x Doubt On Usb OTG support.

Very good for $90 ! Happily no hybrid which in a plain language means you have to buy another smartphone !!! Hybrid in any brands means quality killer....

Maybe its MTK issue. Good points compared to 5a.. the screen quality is much better, the contrast/black levels are far superior and amazing for budget LCD. Camera also seems a bit better. However battery drains fast in standby, lots of awake time. Speaker quality is a bit better. Performance + battery need optimization then its a must buy.

I have both Redmi 5a and Redmi 6. Redmi 6a has 4x2ghz a53, Redmi 5a 4x1.4ghz a53, however Redmi 5a is smoother and faster. Strange. Maybe its MIUI issue with Android 8.
