Ive been using redmi 5a,6a,7 and note 7. Redmi 6a the best compared to 7. Even though using mediatek,it smooth than snap 4++. Been using for grab and not lag. If using 5a and 7,it seem lag. Had to restart over and over again. Now update to miui 10. Dont hv any complaint for this cheap model except for camera.if u want good camera,use note 7. Fyi,grab apps for driver is using too much ram.u can see in ram section. But for 6a,its kind of smooth. Highly recommended for apps using heavy usage of ram. I also play ml in 6a. Doesn't seem lag compared to 5a and 7

I love xiaomi brand and been using it since 2015, but i have to say this is the worst phone in redmi series ever... I bought it as a second phone and was hoping that it is usable device... I actually didnt noticed that it has mediatek chipset, coz redmi 4a and 5a have snap... my mistake... i think my tetris from the 90's would hang with this a22 chipset. My old redmi 3s with custom rom and android pie is like formula1 compared to this ford taurus shite. Still love Xiaomi, bet redmi 6 and 6a must be recycled into plastic bottles for cheap beer.

I updated my Redmi 6A to Android 9 (Pie) and I've been using it for couple of days and all I can say is that the phone is wayyy more optimized it works smooth like no Lag, but the battery life is a lil bit weaker its not like it was on Android 8 (Oreo)
