people talk about long term and change their phone after one year..... I think this phone is well enough to support up to one and half year with stable performance. I am using it and it really satisfying me with it's overall performance.

(Redmi series are not recommended for heavy gamers) so if SD632 can run for example PUBG in medium to high settings without any problems that doesnt mean they build the series on this. So Redmi 8 dont even need start the PUBG game.
Instead of that phone brings a better battery life and smoother video playback and many others.

Just buy the redmi 8a save ourselves some cash and still get the same specs without the fingerprint reader which I'm cool by the way.

Does this support 5ghz wifi and not just 2.4ghz? I got fooled by assuming the redmi 7 can support last time. Why is this information always missing in all the specs i see on this range of phones?

Totally worst SD439 vs 632 we expect SD636 in redmi 8 or SD 660 but old Nokia design only HD display huh

This fone is good only for browsing. watching movies in youtube. and reading books online. that's all can do. with this pretty nice fone ;)

For most phones, you need to plug headphones (which work as antenna for FM receiver in phone) for radio to work.
There are rare occasions , where phones have builtin antenna for FM Radio , Nokia X2-00 comes to my mind.
I think they meant that. And if that's right, this is great thing. I really love that feature.
