Redmi 9 is the best phone I've ever had.The charge that was in the phone when I first unboxed it was 60, and now,this is the second day I'm using it with 40 percent charge.Best phone until now.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2021Ahh one more thing, use config you can find them in youtube1: Go to About Phone > touch MIUI version about 10 times > go back and go to advanced settings > developer options > scroll to the bottom and turn MIUI optimization to off > remove all junk from the device > in Genshin, medium graphics will give you around 25 - 40 frames. it's a playable experience. for more better frames, lowest is recommended.

Kindly let me know, have you ever ... moreDon't buy 3GB variant if you want smooth performance. 3GB RAM is a little low for heavy users, or people who keep multiple apps open.
If you must buy 3GB variant, you'll need to learn how to manage RAM. Maybe flashing a custom ROM will help better. If you can learn to do that, then you'll be fine, but it'll still be a little annoying.
As for selfie camera, it's not good. You can however improve it notably by installing Gcam. .
But if possible, buy a snapdragon phone that supports Gcam if you want to take full advantage of Gcam.

Xiaomi redmi 9 4/64;re... moreAs battery timing is important, go with Redmi 9T or Poco M3.
They've all features of Redmi 9 with bigger battery, and better back camera. But weaker performance.
Their front camera are bad just like Redmi 9, but can be improved by installing Gcam.
Redmi 9 also supports Gcam, but Gcam works slower on Mediatek phones.
Camera quality of Redmi 9T is unknown. But Poco M3 has a very good back camera.

It'll take a little effort to find a suitable Gcam, but you can start searching on:

Hello all from south africa...I just purchased the xiaomi 9,been using it for a month now and must say that it is most satisfactory and worthwhile for that price range..I had to choose between the samsung a12 and xiaomi 9. NO regrets
