Despite being so cheap, redmi 9 has better processor and battery backup compared to Y8p. Y8p also has some features better than redmi 9 no doubt (oled display, under display fingerprint sensor, better cameras) but that's only because it costs more than 2x of redmi 9 price. If you can spend 280 dollars, there are much better phones than either of these.
