I mean really? Xiaomi was considered one of the very best at price-quality relationship but this phone is not an upgrade from the xiaomi redmi note 8 , it is in fact even worse!
The back cover of the phone is plastic which has very low longevity compared to the glass back of the xiaomi redmi note 8.
The screen is bigger and the notch is very very small. But when you look at from a price stand point would you pay extra 40-50$ just for this?
The gap between the prices of these two doesn't equal to better quality, in fact if you consider buying this phone, please have in mind that a better price does not mean it has better quality.
Its stupid how xiaomi is pulling new smartphones really fast without a major change between the models, its seems almost that this phone is the xiaomi redmi note 8+ or something like that.
Xiaomi is going in the same direction of its competitors and it is slowly detiorationg its reputation.

Is it usable under direct sunlight
Gsm arena told it reaches 420 nits just if auto brightness left on

Epic phone, pubg and COD can be played smoothly, face unlock is fast and accurate, superb camera inbuilt features, fingerprint reader is very fast, display is very clear I love to see the homescreen of my phone its, processor is 2.0 with android 10 + 3gbram, THE PRICE IS THE KING (very affordable). Plus lots of features like preinstalled cleaner, security, reading mode, grayscale phone mode ... The colours and the design is awesome. But for me, thebattery doesnot stay for more than 3 days. I am so sure that this phone will increase Xiaomi market share.

Dont get fooled. In the official website, Redmi 9 only supports 802.11 b/g/n only. the spec above shows that it has "/ac" which supports "Wifi 5" BUT that only included in the "Redmi 9 (Prime)" model which (based on my readings) only availible in India. I dont know where can I report misinformation so I'm just gonna leave it here. (Note : Redmi 9 still supports "5GHz bandwith". it just that 5GHz on Wifi 5 is better)

What about screen visibility under direct sunlight when auto brightness is on cause i think 400 nits for an lcd too low . so can user see what on screen in bright sunny day ?
