Its poor on battery management even its have 5020 mah battery, ived play game like clash royale for about 30 minute and it cost around 10% using wifi. For all its capable of 1 day usage for game and other, but if normal like just opening social media it can reach 1 day half. Its mediatek can handle games like pubg or pes 2020 pretty well smooth game, but power consumption is terrible. Ive used asus max pro m1 before this phone with snapdragon 636 and 5000 mah battery, and its battery consumption is way better, even in heavy usage for gaming. Its just what i experience after using this redmi 9 phone for 3 days

I saw some game testing on youtube and this phone can provide around 50 fps, even with high graphic settings. As for ML, Redmi 9 does better than Redmi Note 9. The reviewer even surprised to see this.

I have this phone since 4 days ago. I do not have MIUI 12 just 11. Honeslty it's not so good. I had in the past 3 Xiaomi phones with snapdragon and all just work fine but with mediatek since from begining i noticed a little lag, baterry even is 5020 mAh last only 2 day of usage not 4 and a simple 2D biliard game works with Lag. I was forced to go to developer options and disable animations and transitions to make the game work well. I'm really dissapointed. I will Never Ever buy a phone with mediatek again.

Good phone after a week of use. Handles what I have thrown at it and the battery lasts nicely. The camera is not great though - if this is important to you then it may be worth looking elsewhere.
