Unfortunately, however, it has a lot of complaints lately, so you should also consider other phones/brands. Xiaomi Mi A3 has better camera than all these phones and costs similar where I live.
You should absolutely stay clear of Redmi 9 as well as Redmi Note 9 if you want good camera. If you know how to read camera specs, you can tell they've bad cameras just by looking at the spec sheet.
If you don't, you can check camera samples. There is a huge loss of detail and high level of noise.
Galaxy A30s has a good back camera, however its selfie camera is quite bad as well.

Samsung and Xiaomi use this tactic a lot. Why would they want to decrease their profit?
Though, Realme is less greedy as Realme 5 has Eis (I don't like that phone though).

Snapdragon is only leading in flagship/upper price range right now.
These problems were there when Mediatek introduced some of its first chipsets. Not anymore. Sadly, a lot of people like to talk about things they don't understand, including most YouTubers.
For example, I've Realme 3 since 1 year with MediaTek chipset (Helio P60). To this day, I lose 0-1% battery when I go to sleep (in 7-8 hours).
If I charge it to 100% once, I never have to charge it in same day again - and I use my phone for at least 10 hours every day these days, including 4+ hours of gaming.
However, Xiaomi phones with MIUI do drain a lot of battery due to heavy software. But since this phone has 5000mAh battery, it should last at least as long as my Realme 3.

What about battery drainage does it drain quickly ? i saw some people say this phone is gonna suck in battery life because it has a Mediatek chipset.

Curious why does Redmi 9 does not have EIS enabled for the video recording since Helio G80 does support it, can anyone explain why is this?

Hi fellas. Which model you recommend, note 8, A30s or redmi 9. in my country all of then have the same price. I really don't care that samsung have 720p resolution. All i want, good photos and good battery.

Very good cameras, very good display, excellent battery life and smooth performance.
I haven't tried any heavy games yet, but I saw many tried it on YouTube and it seems to handle them fine! It's a true value for money phone!
