I love the integrated features in this smartphone - love the fact that it has such incredible gaming specs.

I saw unboxing of this device.Antutu benchmark was about 200.000.CPU and GPU pretty.But video is not.As far as I know there is not EIS.But other specs good.Real upgrade from previous model according to the Antutu score.

Some tech reviewer said that it's 1080p display is not on par with the other 1080p display as well he said that even some phones with 720p display are much better. Is this true?

Does this phone have 5Ghz WiFi? On Xiaomi's site it says that it has b/g/n but then it says it supports 5G WiFi and on other sites it says it has a/b/g/n/ac. Anyone with this phone who can confirm this?

Motorola One Macro is not a good comparison with this phone. Motorola outdated processor against this new processor that can perform much more better.

Generous specs indeed for a budget device. However, the design of Redmi 9 looks terrible. The waterdrop notch is acceptable but just look at the camera and fingerprint placement at the back. They're together in one place. This means that there are times that you'll accidentally press the camera instead of the fingerprint scanner. It's an absolute eyesore. I wish Xiaomi would hire some people that could bring the design to the next level even for budget phones. Just not this kind of design, it appears they haven't taught well about it.

Things that OK is all about processing power. Mediatek always absent in Audio DAC and Video Capability. And still using 12nm process. Even Smartphone manufacturers lacking to support a Possible perform ance and throttling issue to fix it. Even games and Certain third party app still not optimize yet

This phone is very Good for the price having an Type-C charger and a powerful mediatek Helio g80 processor.Its just that you guys are trying to compare smartphone with a very big price difference it can even beat smartphone higher than it's price you get 1080p resolution.Type c.big battery with an beautiful design this phone on itself is a deal breaker you know..

8MP selfie camera in Rs. 27,500? Look at apertures of back camera, it'll be a miracle if it takes a good picture in low-moderate lighting!
Redmi Note 9 also has worst camera in its price in Pakistan. Just look at samples by Gsmarena.
There isn't a big difference in gaming performance of Helio G70, G80 & G85, so don't worry about that. I think G85 pulls about +2FPS than G70 but games aren't optimised for G85, so PUBG lags on it.
Don't know if G80 has good game optimisation or not.
In this price in Pakistan, go for these phones:
Infinix Note 7 (lower display but doesn't look bad)
Nokia 7 Plus (FHD display & beautiful camera)
Realme 5 Pro (31,500 for 4,128GB variant but it's way better than all options till price of Redmi Note 9s)
Realme 3 & Realme 5 are also decent choices.
If this phone didn't have Helio G80 & FHD display, it would belong under 20,000 PKR with Tecno phones.
