Why they keep on making big phones? They should have stick with 150mm to 165mm. With smaller screen you'll get better ppi atleast 290+ though they would always argue that you would get lower bat capacity. I mean 4k mah is enough like on Redmi 7a; compact, 296ppi.

before almost 2 or 3 months ago, i saw a cocept video of incoming Redmi 9
the size of it was very big just like a brick but was thinner than it !!!!
but you know what, i like size of Redmi 6, Redmi 5

instead of making big, bigger...i hoped they just update the details what under hood of previous devices like Redmi 5, Redmi 6

xxx, 11 May 2020smaller the aperture better is the camera..plus it got that... moreAperture doesn't save bad sensor, i saw this sensor in the Samsung j7 devices, it is really bad at low light situations, i have redmi note 6 pro which uses the same sensor as redmi 8, and it is way better
Battery and charging speed are the same as redmi 8
The processor excel at performance at cost of battery life and image processing
Overall, redmi is charging more for no really convincong reason
I wish they had instead focused on what really mattered : one really good camera sensor, tear-drop instead of expensive punch hole,

Gaming processor, mega big battery, mega big screen, 720p will further improve battery life, I wanna see my movies and pics with it! Camera is 13 megapixels one megapixel more than the note 10 and the iphones!! All for $120, Say no to all the overpriced phones and the evil companies that sell them!

The only other phone with Helio G70 is Realme C3 and the reviews are good. Performance is comparabale to Snapdragon 665 which is for midrange phones. Camera is lackluster though. Since this is a budget phone there will always be a con. But I will still choose performance over camera.

Hmm, I'd go for the Redmi Note 9 honestly, lower price tag, but it's a bit wierd if you ask me, RN8 has SD while the RN8 Pro has the MTK chipset, while the RN9 has MTK and RN9 Pro has SD which is like.. wtf?

And although mediatek has good raw power and benchmark numbers, they still got longway to go when it comes to batterylife and image processing, i mean look at redmi note 8 pro, the dynamic range is aweful

Helio G70 is better than SD665, the only downside is the display resolution, it's a mistake pairing it with that large display, but we'll see. Kinda surprised with this, this is a LARGE leap between R8 bro, quad camera setup, chipset, screen size, I'm definitely hyped up to see this, or maybe even put my hands onto it idk

The main camera sensor is trash... As much as i hate apple, i have to admit they do camera right : excellent one sensor instead of four trashy ones, and the processor is mediatek, therefore bad post-processing.....
Redmi you are my favorite brand, stop this unhealthy marketing and focus on making good phones like you used to, otherwise you are just another chinese brand
