Excellent job Xiaomi on the phone, everything is outstanding. Sound, performance, style, everything and for the price it happens to be another 1 of my best buys. Also excellent work on the security!
Also people remember you can't compare a gaming computer to an ordinary day to day computer, the same goes with cell phones. Want something to play heavy intense games then go and buy a gaming phone and stop giving false reviews because of you thinking this phone can handle the intense games!

I have used the 3GB RAM version of this phone from 2021-2022 and I have no particular issues. Yes, it could be slow at times, but it's still tolerable for me. The storage is also mostly enough too.
By the way, I will say that the 2GB RAM version should only be bought if you are not going to multitask a lot or play games. If you want to have decent multitasking performance or play some not-so-demanding games, definitely buy the 3GB RAM version or even the 4GB RAM version (if it's available)

Used a state-of-the-art phone for the past 4 years.
Now I realize, this basic Xiaomi is all I ever needed.
For the price, the 9A is far more valuable than my previous flagship.
It does not feel hollow like a dummy phone, and have all basic fuctions.
Note; if you have some technical skills, this phone runs smoother if you turn off bloatware through adb commands.

Many people do not understand the use case for this phone. This phone is not and never designed for gaming. It's designed to be light usage - emails, basic web surfing, social media browsing and basic communications.
I have the 4gb variant and it does a reasonably good job for the above mentioned use cases. What you pay is what you get at the end of day. No point saying u were robbed or cheated or the phone is rubbish because you can't do heavy gaming. It wasn't designed to do so in the first place.

This is pure garbage, even the screen lock doesn't work properly. Don't buy it, save a little more money and buy something else. Or buy a book and stop spending so much time on your cell phone, that's not good for you.
