Anonymous, 02 Jul 2020Which is better 9c or Note 8?The Redmi Note is always better than a Redmi C

Such a big downgrade from Redmi 8A, 1.4µm becomes 1.2um, No Gorilla Glass, No Water Resistant Coating, No information about 18W fast charging, 8mp seflie becomes 5 mp selfie, depth sensor not required, no option for 3 and 4GB Ram option informed, just to bring fingerprint sensor and a better processor and macro camera, what's the use of processor if there is no 3GB Ram, imagine how slow the phone would be, extremely disappointed.

NeonHD, 07 Jul 2020My point isn't to say that 720p is bad on entry-level ... moretrue, try to find phones that have 290+ ppi it is decent enough even if it is HD+

Say this is a bad phone. it's actually good enough for online classes

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2020Quite true. In fact, when you watch YouTube, even with a fa... moreBruh, you realize that you can select the highest resolution if it defaults to 480p right? I'm not saying that it's "bad", obviously it's still usable, but compared to phones with smaller 720p displays, it's less HD. I just don't believe it's reasonable to put 720p on such a large display. Why not just stick with smaller screens for low-end phones and save the bigger ones for the mid-range devices?

Just like how the headphone jack is for low to mid-range phones, small screens should be reserved for low-end devices.

Jolo, 05 Jul 2020it's an entry level phone, what do u expect? besides 7... moreMy point isn't to say that 720p is bad on entry-level phones, obviously that is to be expected. Rather, my point is that the large screens don't fit the 720p resolution (instead of the other way around). They should've made low-end phones smaller.

720p isn't "bad" as long as it has good color reproduction, but the fact is that these huge phones (phablets) have smaller PPI than low-end phones of previous years with a smaller display.

Jolo, 05 Jul 2020it's an entry level phone, what do u expect? besides 7... moreQuite true. In fact, when you watch YouTube, even with a fast wifi, often the video ends up at 480p anyways. In daily use, you shouldn't be bothered. Heck, iPhone 11 has 828p, not too different!
