This one is truly a PoS (Piece of S^it) phone... Constant freezing, skipping on tasks when selected, trouble powering off, not to mention powering on! Problems with all the Google apps? Starting with Maps, ending it with the Google play store! it is a miracle in itself, how this phone even operates. I understand it is an extremely low price, but there are phones out there that are galaxies, eons, better than this garbage! I lost my One+2, and then decided to get this one... OMG... And I am not a phone itch/twitch person... I am really using it mostly for convos, messages, what's app, and some life helping apps, like Waze (which is pending and won't install, after all the check-outs, reinstallations of GPStore, cache, even hand-on root access...). I can give a 1000 more reasons, I am tired of looking at it really! Moreover, I am going to make a party smash out of it... Call my friends for the barbecue and some beers, then I'll smash the f-thing in thousand of pieces with a 3col Hammer (you know, the one for the walls protrusion)! It'll be a blast, and then I will have peace and listen to the (In Decard's Cain voice) sounds of reason "Stay awhile and listen", and buy myself a brand new IPhone for the first time in my life.

    My Redmi 9C is horrible. Lagging when I open Google and other times. Even horrible lagging when I launch the WeChat. The most frustrating me is: When others call me, the phone screen doesn't turn on and keep black, I only heard the ringtone ringing. When the phone really lagging, the screen will keep black and I can't answer the call until the phone stop ringing.

          I bought xiaomi redmi 9c from jumia. before i have a xiaomi redmi note 8pro which is having very good performance even after 18 months.
          But this 9c made so desperate with its performance. when trying to charge its not charging unless done power off. then sometimes when there is no charger connected also its showing charging icon.
          and most places of xiaomi products this unit is not mentioned. now i doubt this is xiaomi product or not.
          pls inform if any software installation can solve it

            Yes why haven't we receive the 12.5 up what is the reason.
            Please release the update for us that are using the Redmi 9c

              As I check on MIUI Downloader app, I noticed that all redmi 9 variants global rom aside from 9C is left behind and still hasn't the MIUI 12.5. I don't know what is the reason for this and it is a bit frustrating now.

                Every XIAOMI REDMI 9C user please ooen the feedback app on your device and send a report to the devolopers asking for MIUI 12.5.
                Please do this so we can get MIUI 12.5 on our device too.
                Redmi 9A also got MIUI 12.5 but we still did not get it. Xiaomi sold this a lot and still sells a lot but fails to deliver MIUI 12.5 on ths device. Thi device has a lot of issues becuase its on MIUI 12.
                Guys lets do this.

                          Xiaomi just updated the 9C V12.0.20.0.QCRMIXM. We are in the roll out for MIUI 13 but still no sign for OS upgrade to 11. I understand that the processor of this phone is not a powerful one so lagging will occur but still phone just works fine. Maybe we will be stuck in this version for months which is still annoying.

                            I've never had a freezing or crashing problem. I have had a problem with apps opening randomly twice.....but the phone uptime was 260 hours. So I restarted the phone after it happened the last time and it hasn't happened again. Apparently we all own different versions of this 9C. Anywayyyyy.....I'm not changing anything on mine cause all is working 100%.

                              Dear developers please read this carefully. Xiaomi Redmi 9C is having Screen Freezes as well as slowness and laggyness. This is because its still on MIUI 12 & not MIUI 12.5. Even the cheaper Redmi 9A has got it as well as MIUI 12.5 EE and its performance is better than this. Please give us MIUI 12.5 ASAP. Please TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY.

                              And submit it. Please everyone do this. Xiaomi Redmi 9C & Xiaomi Redmi 9C NFC users please do this. If your friend has one of these inform them as well.
