Bro I am using this device it frequently hangs then you need turn off or screen on، it's performance is really bad, it has many bugs such as automatic photo backup in gallery, once you delete a contact it's is not completely deleted contacts appears in Whatsapp but not in contact list, it's camera is really bad photos and videos it captures are in big size and quality is very poor,I prefer do not try to buy this phone it's garbage that Xiaomi lunched in market.

The phone is a disappointment, really. Had high hopes for it when I bought it, but after six months, I' done with it.
It's horribly slow and it takes ages to open an app. Even taking calls can be a challenge, as often all you've got is a black screen while the phone is ringing. You want to answer and eventually you can, after like three seconds. Saving a new contact takes a long time, literally seconds. And while the phone is not responding, you're wondering what's going on. After a few seconds the phone comes back from coma, and you can see that it in fact saved your new contact.
With time, the situation gets gradually worse. Restarting and using memory cleaners won't help either.
It also takes subpar photos despite the three cameras. So it's pretty much useless and a waste of money.
At times, when you need to make a quick call, it's absolutely irritating, becuse of the sluggisness or no response. My wife asks me to call someone and I try to do it, and then she looks at me and I look at her, because the phone is not responding and we're just waiting for it to finally make the call. Times like this, I just want to throw it under a bus or something.
I would sell it, but can't, becaue I dropped it and broke the screen. So now it's junk. All my older phones worked without any issues and this is literally the worst phone I've ever owned. And it's my fault. I read about the issues it had, but thought people were I wanted to like this phone and tried all sorts of settings to make it work a bit faster, but nothing helps.
So stay away from this phone and just get something else.

This phone is the best phone I've ever had! I use it 24/7, it charges very quickly, has a decent camera and I very accurate fingerprint scanner. The only problem I have with this phone is that it's only a little slow when it comes to opening apps but other than that I have no complaints. I would really recommend this budget phone!

redmi 9c is a literal scam. It uses a 32 bit operating system even though it boasts and claims a 64 bit operating system. Which is absolutely horrible as google has been cracking down on 32 bit apps. DO NOT buy this. xiaomi refuses to upload an official 64 bit operating system even thought the device supposedly supports it.

The Mediatek Helio g35 is good for basic tasks and not suitable for gaming. I have the Indian version of redmi 9 which is powered by this chipset. 4gb+64 gb variant. Been using for 2 years. Bought this for online class
I think its time to upgrade my redmi 9 to a redmi 10.
The redmi 10 (Indian version) is powered by Snapdragon 680 which is much powerful than the Helio g35. You can also play cod smoothly. The design is basically same. You get Gorilla glass 3 protection And the 50mp camera is upgraded to a 50 MP one. It has 18w Fast Charging compared to 9w on redmi 9c. It is s good successor to the redmi 9c. There is also a 4gb+64 gb variant for Rs 11000. Buy that
Edit: Got the redmi 10 6gb+128 gb version for Rs 13000 in May 2022. Runs genshin Impact (low 25 fps) which does not even can be installed on this redmi 9c. Those looking for buying this redmi 9c can buy redmi 10

WORST PHONE EVER!
i don't recommend this phone to anyone. I receive it from work and i just use it for calls, WhatsApp and some email reading/writing but is useless, sometimes i can even answer a call because is freezed, sometimes it made calls that i don't want to, sometimes it takes almost a minutes to open an email, etc etc.
It's really frustrating!!

worst phone ever! dont buy it! just a waste of money and even after you buy it you will hate how slow the phone is. sometimes notifications show up on your screen hrs after the actual msg was delivered. if you have accidentally played something it takes really long to lower the volume or even quit the app. its as if the person who made this phone doesnt know how to make phones just a beginner!! if you have too much money to waste go ahead and buy redmi 9c.
