After a month of using the phone I got back from the Service Center to fix the deadboot issue it doesn't turn on anymore again today! This has been a frustrating experience so I had just ask for a refund instead. Will not be buying Xiaomi products anymore.

Abian, 19 Oct 2021Mine can't update to the 12.0.17 Miui versionThat depends on where your region is. Some region will get early, some not. The updates are coming in stages.
Just wait for it and keep checking.
But, if you're too eager and can't live without updating your phone, like some other people here 🤭, there's always updates from external sources and you can flash it yourself.
It's risky though, and it may cancel the warranty if something unwanted happens to your phone even if the so-called external updates came officially from Xiaomi.

I bought RedMe 9T in Mid May and it went out of order in Late August while the company gave the warranty of whole year almost. They asked for only 2 weeks for the repair, but it's about 2 month no updates had been given even. I am not sure what is wrong with the motherboard which couldn't be changed in these 2 months. But it is quite disappointing attitudes for the customers, I am really sorry but i don't recommend such kind of dealing companies.

If you're in the Philippines and you experience the dead boot issue, send your phone to an authorized service center. Xiaomi Philippines is aware of the problem and you can either have it repaired for free (they replace the main board), exchange the device for a new build/batch or have a full refund. They also added 3 months to the 1-year warranty.
A lot of people have complained to Department of Trade and Industry so I guess that's what prompted Xiaomi PH to take action!
