For the third time my phone is unable to power on at all after rebooting it for update..... it has been 11 days... before this, same thing happened when updating it, but I only need to wait for at least 2 days before charging and turn it back on... This is so upsetting....

      yes.. yous should try remove batery for a few days

        Yesterday already send it to Service Centre and take 1 month for motherboard replacement..Never drop that phone before.Suddenly switch off and can't turn on.I will never buy this brand again.

          My phone has the turn on issue since two weeks now...should I still try the removal of battery method pls?

            So far using it for 3-4 month nothing happened. Really enjoyed it and of course the first thing i like is about its battery life. It's really help me as student,doing the classes and assignment really great. As a user I've ask the Xiaomi Malaysia about the issues that people were talking about. So far they said there's no update to this phone. Maybe i guess this end of 2021 year they will release the latest version of android to this phone. No lagging,No bug,No overheating issues. I love it so much and appreciate it👍

                Have no troubles with this phone.

Took it to service center I was given 3weeks ,had to buy a small second hand phone to use till they fix it.I honestly pray its fixed, i will sell it off immediately and add money to buy Samsung. Its a terrible experience.

After 6 months of use and automa... moreI've used his phone with a global ROM since February, and I've updated it from version 12.0.1 and now it is at 12.0.11. I have never encountered any problem at all. Every evening when I'm going to bed at 11 p.m., I put it off and when I wake up at 5 a.m. I put it on. I love it!🙏

                            Don't buy this phone! After 6 months of use and automatically installing the firmware and software updates from Xiaomi the phone doesn't turn on anymore. Had it sent to a service center and they said it was a problem with the screen and battery and sent it back to the shop I bought it from. But when the shop from retested it the phone still won't turn on after shutting down and now they had to sent it back to the service center. Mind you all of this back and forth took almost a month now and I'm losing my patience from buying such a defective product. Should've known I should never had bought from such a dubious Chinese company. Now I'm using a second hand Samsung J7 phone just to stay in touch with family and work. Will be buying Samsung instead next time for a new phone.

                              Hi everyone. I´m one of the GSM users who make consult on this before buying some new cellphone.

                              First i bought recently this phone (11-08-2021). Before buying it i make consultation on this site. This phone was being discribed with "lot of problems" in some new August Android 11 based update.

                              I was to not buy it, but i bought it.

                              So after i bought it it came with the 12.0.5 MUI version (stable version as it says) and based on Android 10. So then i go to the settings, try to update MUI on my phone, but it says it´s the last version (there´s no updates). So i believe here in Portugal (or maybe europe) the update based on android 11 (being told as problematic) at least on my phone is not being given.

                              I am very happy with this phone, but just doing some basic tests.

                              It has google apps (for someone who thinks the chinese could have cut google apps).

Surprisingly, people over there do not complain at all about their phones getting "dead" for days after updating and rebooting!
