Download update. Let battery drain to 15% (lowest allowed for update) . Maintain. Get your backup phone ready. Around 4pm hit reboot for update. Will ask you to connect charger. Connect charger and reboot. Phone goes black. Unplug charger. Transfer SIM cards to backup. Leave Aunty 9t to rest til the next morning. Connect charger. She'll wink and you'll let her update.

Been using this device since release, here's few things that I've experienced
Cons:
- Weak signal receiver except for SIM Signals. Been around many phones either Apple or Android and it's my first device that i experience a lacking a wifi receiver same as bluetooth, i guess the antenna is slight issue on this one.
- As of now June 10, 2023 my Redmi 9T won't charge and the battery bloat up. I tried cleaning the port the it wasn't the case. Maybe the cause of battery bloat was from the heat it receives on fast charging comes from the box itself but the cord and adaptor are still working.
Pros
- The Battery life stays longer than my ex.
- Have an option for extended RAM 6+2 if you have enough storage.
- A lot.

Phone experience was okay but after 1 year dead boot.
Shutdiwn every month try not to empty battery but some how it managed and sneak into poweroff.
Then i have to wait for couple of days to battery ran out then charged and boom it powered on and after 15 to 30 days situation loops.
Its kind of funny and frustrating.
Hats off to 9T

It weighs 208 grams not 198 as it looks here. Plus 6 grams of metal plate for magnetic mount, plus 27 grams clear case. 241 grams when I put it on my very accurate scale. Too heavy. Disappointed.

Bought this phone around a week after it release and been using it as my main daily.Prior to this,my main daily phone is Oppo A5 2020,which also bought right after it release.Yes,i love phone with stereo speakers. Both phone are still working very well.Using them to watch Netflix, YouTube,MLBB,try some app.No problem whatsoever. Both phone using LCD,but what to complain for its price, and the screen still looks good.9T have a massive battery, and ofc charging took a long time. But its worth the screen time that you will get after a full charge.I am truly satisfied with both phone.Apart from faulty unit that some of us might get,all phone brand have those faulty unit,to me the most important thing for us is to take good care of them,so they can last longer.Yup.When Samsung S6 launched years ago,i bought it and use it for 6 years!Totally worth it.Only the battery fails after that, and ofc even after replacing the battery, the apps getting more and more advance the old phone can no longer catch up with. :) Still keep it though,in good shape and working condition.

So I've been using this fone for the past 2 years. It has been updated to MIUI 14. I'd say its interface is much better than miui 13. Much similar to ios. The cons are it lags when switching apps specifically from game. The fingerprint also is shit as it takes multiple tries sometimes. My OP6 is better even when its older. Apps also takes time to load. Pros are its battery life. Damn brilliant can last upto 1.5 days. Though charging is very slow

Mine's working really well. I've been using this phone for 2 years already, and now it's in an MIUI 14.0.3 (current version). The update aforementioned has been released just recently and I took advantage of it. So far, everything's smooth.
