I have had it for almost 2 years and I have had issues with Bluetooth and rebooting. A couple months ago it started to randomly freeze and if I did a force reboot then it stayed there for hours and it took a couple force reboots to start working

I downloaded the MIUI 14 / 1st March 2023 security update, and it worked out well.
The phone's actions seem smoother than ever ; seems like a new phone, which is fantastic because I've had it just over 18 months.
The only negative so far that I've noticed, is that it moved my icons around and spread them around & started another page in the process.
I can live with that if that's all it did wrong.

But do you have any idea if the update... moreI'm not entirely sure if the update resolve the deadboot issue and I don't want to reboot my Redmi 9T on purpose just to find out 😂. My phone never had that issue for the past 2 years. Only just recently it started to show the problem.
But people are saying that the deadboot is related to faulty resistor on the motherboard. It's a hardware problem, not software, they said.

It can be really frustrating seeing something you bought with money malfunctioning when it's barely even lived out its life span.

And my phone battery was full. I know I won't be able to boot this phone until 2 weeks or so. But I hope after I update it to MIUI 14, I won't experience this issue again.

My Redmi 9T survived MIUI 14.0.3 update. It also survived GPSU March 1. Both updates that require you to reboot the phone, but the phone successfully boot up like it was nothing lol.
Just few weeks ago my Redmi 9T went into coma and won't boot up for 5 days after MIUI 13.0.3 update. But after noticing the battery logo flashing on the screen when I press/hold the power button, I quickly plug in the charger and let it charge for a while and to my surprise it comes back to life after I press/hold the power button.
I'm not worried anymore if this would happen again in the future because I just bought a replacement.

My mom came to me last night and told me that she couldn't open her phone. deadboot, I guess. The same thing happened to my dad's phone, too, a Poco M3. I found out that both phones have the same problem. Next time, I need to check before buying her a new phone.

Today 16/4/23 after patch of MIUi 13 my cell phone did not rebooted. It doesn't show any symptoms of power on. Phone sent to a technician who is saying that it's one of IC will be replaced i.e. common issue in this model.

..same issue after the update of miui14, deadboot happened, only on when plug in the charger..
.
..causes heating issue once it on without charger and only the logo appears repeatedly..

I've got this phone for nearly two years and received android 12 last month or February. Today there was update to MIUI 14 and security from March. Everything works good. I'm surprised because it's budget model and my last Sony and Motorola received only one android update. Xiaomi is not that bad as many people say.

hello fellow xiaomi users, my mom has this phone i wake up and she tells me my phone is dead. i guess the phone did the update overnight on its own and now it wont turn on. it wont charge, wont turn on with neither of the combinations with buttons. anyone able to help?

Either you buy the part and replace it yourself, or bring it to your local repair shop and let them replace it for you. The small flex cable isn't really that expensive anyway.

Not sho... moreEither something wrong with the sensor flex cable, or you may need to reboot and do a "wipe cache partition" on your Redmi 9T.
Try the 2nd one.
