The symbol transitioning key on Gboard is buggy. I always need to press it twice to get my touches to register. Really slows down my typing speed.

I was leaning toward the m3 but after reading a lot of comment on the m3, I feel like there is a lot of software issues. I actually have a Redmi 9 then my grandma took the phone and use it so I kinda need to have another phone similar to it. I thought of the redmi 9T and then I saw the m3 for a cheaper price but for the 64GB option is out of stock. so I might be getting the 9T 128GB because I kinda need the extra storage plus I get to have some card discount which is the same price poco m3 128GB.

Probably I should explain more on a single post.
Overall, of course Redmi 9T is better, but doesn't means Redmi 9T is a lot better than Poco M3 also.
Performance wise both are around the same, only difference is on the additional 8MP camera, and also the 6GB RAM option, and maybe NFC on some region only, my region don't has it, but Redmi 9T is more expensive.
If want save money, Poco M3 is the one to go, as that one offer the same performance, just lacking 8MP camera.
RAM wise, the additional 2GB RAM doesn't make the phone feel drastically faster, might only allow more apps to open in the same time only.
Then, for the price of 128GB of Redmi 9T, I would recommend to stretch a little bit more to get Redmi Note 9S instead, which is totally in different league, except no stereo speakers.

The culprit is on the underpowered processor, SD662, the full hd+ screen, and also the unoptimized MIUI 12 for this processor. The more RAM doesn't make the smartphone much faster.
Then Redmi 9T got the extra 8MP wide angle camera, which doesn't take good image.
If you want to save money, Poco M3 is the one to go.
Else, if you want Redmi 9T, stretch a little bit more to get Redmi Note 9S instead.
