Bro this phone don't have widgets and some apps I can't even download like simple ones and the lock screen wallpaper I put up keeps changing to the default. (I'm typing this while using the phone lol) at least it has a lot of storage and it's cheap

G.G, 07 Sep 2023is the 2 gb ram of this phone expandable or not ? someone s... moreeven your nephew would complain at you. they would not enjoy using this. enabling virtual ram isn't a cure. either it would bottleneck emmc. results in severe hang and freeze. in worst cases, bootloop. this is completely nothing but recycled garbage forcing to run latest android version. even galaxy a03 beats this piece of junk.

It's upper half heats up when mobile data is on and it heats heats up completely during the charging.

just a reminder. avoid something like this, for the best entry level device, i recommend saving up more and buy something like itel s23. its got usb type c connector and 256gb ufs 2.2 for the highest variant. something you don't usually see on other budget device. or.. maybe galaxy a03. has micro usb though, but you can get repair easily with samsung compared to itel.
this redmi phone will be unusable after 3-6 month use.

Doesn't allow the "display app feature" which is almost a disaster, got me restricted from doing a whole lotta things 🤦♂️😬😬

The thing im consider after getting this phone is monthly security updates atleast for 1 year. and minimal one time android Updates. Cause Android GO lacking of features and compatibilty on apps after newer Android versions☹️

Have bought this phone today and was thinking if this phone is good enough as a secondary phone for just 2 to 3 calls a day along with few online transactions and whatsapp OR shall I just keep it for playing games and Youtube videos.
