My suggestion is that if you are buying a cellphone above INR 15000, better select it from Nokia, Samsung or Motorola and avoid buying anything from MI, Oppo or Vivo.
I recently went to MI store to get my phone software updated, and I saw that 8 out of 10 people had only visited as their phone got damaged in rain, and the only reply they got was to repair the handset without warranty, cost equivalent to half the price of the phone.
I too carry my phone in rain but I have brought a special pouch to protect it, so my phone never gets wet.
I know that MI is the number one brand in the country but trust me, there are good alternatives available to it.
Secondly, if you are buying an expensive phone, you too would want it to function for a longer period of time.
I am not saying that all Chinese phones are faulty and all conventional brand phones are good, but probability of a faulty phone in Nokia, Samsung or Motorola will be less than that of Chinese brands.
And if you still want to buy expensive phones from Chinese brands, better not use them roughly and treat them with fragility.
I also have Redmi 6 64GB, I have a screenguard for it, rear cover skin, back cover and a pouch to keep it in. Although I play games and watch videos, but I do it moderately, and avoid overcharging of my device.
Rest is all your choice.

My sincere request to all new cellphone buyers is that, if you are looking for some good cellphone between range INR 12000 plus, better go for brands like Nokia, Samsung or Motorola, and avoid these Chinese brands like MI, Oppo, Huawei or Vivo.
The reason behind this is, I just had a visit to MI service center to get my phone software updated, and 8 out of 10 people were only complaining about cellphone malfunction due to rainwater, and the service center people were suggesting them repairs worth half price of the phone.
Secondly, if you are investing that much hard earned money of yours, you too would want a phone having durability, to be used over longer period of time.
I have Samsung Galaxy J2 2015, its even working now, but as it had 1GB RAM and 8GB internal its too less for me.
I know that MI is the number one brand in Indian market as of now, but trust me, in this price range of INR 15000 to 25000, you have various other better options from conventional brands, and if you ask me, make it an iron rule to buy from Nokia, Samsung or Motorola only.
I am not saying that all Chinese brands are bad, and all will run faultly, and all conventional brands are good and will function normally, but better to select from

Many of us had already estimated a budget to buy k20 or k20 pro and have been waiting for it for a month. Now we can't believe at how terribly they've overpriced the phone. People aiming to go for cheaper alternative will most likely go for Realme X or even Pocophone instead of Redmi k20.

halu, 17 Jul 2019lol keep dreaming, Nokia 8 can't do thatFind it too hard to believe? That's probably because you're accustomed to below standard performance of MIUI devices.
My friend asked me for a good device for PUBG a year or two ago, so I suggested Nokia 8. But even I wasn't expecting it to handle PUBG on Ultra HD.
If you're a skeptic, grab a Nokia 8, install PUBG and test it yourself. Better than being in denial about your favourite brand/OS. It's your money going to waste, not mine.
