Some updates might just surprise you. As for Xiaomi, MIUI is ok, I don't personally like it because of the cartoonish look, but it's stable and fast. I installed Lineage on every Xiaomi I had and have, and it's super stable and fast. Tested on MI4C, MI5, Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix 2s, the latter 2 are still in use, working perfectly.

Why have a remote when you have a phone that has IR blaster? Why not have an micro-SD card slot? Not all the things you deem unnecessary are futile to other people. MicroSDs can be used to save temporary files like photos, music, etc. Its easier to migrate those files instead of transferring to a PC then into a new phone. Use your head, please.

Biggest deal breaker for me is absence of external memory, 2ndly if this is to be said Poco F2 than it has lost its spirit of beating flagship prices for flagship performance.

Why need IR blaster when you have remote, why need sd card when you can buy 256gb version ? You won't buy it but another people will buy because they don't care about unnecessary features
