Global version or indian version may launch with some changes. Maybe with hybrid slot. Because most of phones in China don't have microsd but global version have. Eg reàlme x indian will have SD card while Chinese don't have.

specs good and i'love xiamoi because all phone have gorilla protect but i dont like the motorized popup camera they turn the phone dimension so big and not comfrtable in hand
so the notch its good well for dimension

Am I the only one that cares about the camera, the lack of OIS and the selfie camera(there is EIS but not every phone implement it good like pixel) ... they just need to make a video like Oneplus did to show us that the front camera mechanism is strong enough for at least 3-4 years.
No IR Blaster(not sure if true)? The normal user doesn't use his phone as a remote thb, was funny to hear that many people are complaining about that. No SD card? No problem if you have that much storage (128-256) gb and if you are afraid that the phone may die just save them in the cloud, you have a lot of options in 2019. And btw why do you need so much storage?It is a 350 euros phone and still it looks super to me? For me it is a great deal for so many features but the company has to prove us that the phone really works smoothly with the specs that they showed. If the camera is comparable with the best smartphones(I am not expecting it to be the best but also not the worst of cameras in the last 2 years smartphone industry) then I as a student would buy it without thinking too much. It has the most essentials things that sb needs + one of top 5 CPU/GPU in the market .Change my mind if I really missed sth because this will possibly be my daily driver in the future.

Mi 9 has better camera (second and third camera), IR blaster (for who like to operate so many elextronic devices which has IR input), wireless charging, better screen at least on paper (support HDR 10 and DCI-P3), better front camera (from spec sheet), more advance GPS (support QZSS).
Also dont forget Mi 9 is slimmer and lighter (smaller battery). Most women will chose lighter and slimmer phone because 191g is quite heavy.

Blue and red is color is not match if u understand about color placement by graphic design science. Yes the black variant also has red power button but black and red color is match.

SHould have add sd card slot or atleast Hybrid Sim Slot. even 256GB is not enough these days.
also i rather have a notch design then a motorized camera, i don't think that motor gonna last more than 2 years ( also don't know what gonna happen if phone got dropped hard)
