>Again, I get your point. But the thing is that most people do not share the same logic as you, because your logic is centered towards maximizing specs, while the average consumer's logic is centered on a pleasant user experience. They probably aren't aware of the specs, let alone even have the knowledge to understand what is refresh rate.

I seriously DOUBT that. If people didn't care about spec or anything, and only care for user experience they would go for Samsung or Apple. Xiaomi made the k30 pro for spec-savvy people, but sadly that screen is terrible choice, so i have no idea what are they are doing with their decision on the k30 pro

>And I'll requote myself again "Yeah it's kinda stupid that Xiaomi put a 120hz screen on this phone instead of the K30 Pro."

Im requoting your own quote that you said literally said K30 pro is a "better buy" due to better chipset, but whats the point when you literally cant even use 100% power of the sd865 with only 60hz screen, lmao

which is why the k30 pro is a terrible choice

redmi k30 ultra has a somehwat slower SoC but at LEAST it can use most of its performance because of the 120hz screen, so its a better buy compared to the k30 pro lol

> This is true. But then why even go for sd865 then? something like sd765g is more power efficient and alredy can handle 60hz easy.

You are repeating yourself, I already understood you the first time.

> why bother when its only 60hz...Xiaomi did a terrible decision to only put in 60hz for the k3 pro and also i think its a terrible choice due to the weaker panel

And I'll requote myself again "Yeah it's kinda stupid that Xiaomi put a 120hz screen on this phone instead of the K30 Pro."

Anyways, why are we talking about the refresh rate when there exists an even bigger illogical stupid decision from Xiaomi: no headphone jack on a mid-range!

I would instantly buy it at 400-450€ please release it globally!

The Redmi K30 Ultra should become POCO F2 ( non PRO) in global market. And it should be significantly cheaper than POCO F2 PRO.

Android.Master, 02 Sep 2020Xiaomi Redmi must launch this internationally as soon as po... moreNeither Redmi K30Ultra nor Realme X7Pro will be made available outside its domestic market, because the supply of Dimensity 1000+ is limited, way below the demand of its domestic market. At this moment, the quantity of D1000+ available to Xiaomi is higher than that available to Realme, but neither is sufficient to meet the domestic demand. MediaTek wants D1000+ be used strictly for 5G market(s) only.

The aggressive pricing of both K30Ultra and X7Pro is a reflection of the quality of the competition and the strength of the smartphone ecosystem in its domestic market. It will be impossible to justify such pricing in any other markets.

Xiaomi Redmi must launch this internationally as soon as possible otherwise Realme will eat up all their sales with the Realme X7/X7 pro.

This phone has global version?

if the general consumer dont care, they why should they even bother buying something so fast like the sd865 only to be bogged down by 60hz panel? why not go for mid range like sd730g or sd765g? the sd865 is a very fast SoC designed for HIGHER than 60hz....60hz is too archaic

This is true. But then why even go for sd865 then? something like sd765g is more power efficient and alredy can handle 60hz easy.
P.S: Also you can change the refresh rates on some phones, 60hz/90hz etc

>Not saying I don't want 120hz on a SD865 phone, just saying that overall the K30 Pro is still the better buy because of the stronger chipset.

im going to re-quote you again, "K30 Pro is still the better buy because of the stronger chipset"
but why bother when its only 60hz...Xiaomi did a terrible decision to only put in 60hz for the k3 pro and also i think its a terrible choice due to the weaker panel

Not saying I don't want 120hz on a SD865 phone, just saying that overall the K30 Pro is still the better buy because of the stronger chipset.

But yeah it's kinda stupid that Xiaomi put a 120hz screen on this phone instead of the K30 Pro.
