u will not see this device in europe...us...middle east...Africa or other places with this config & chipset + Global Rom
u will see it just in
India...Thailand...philipine & other south asia countries.
they will add language of these countries to this phone & done. just like Realme GT & GT NEO

To be completely honest, I think this phone for specifications is extremely good compared to a lot of the competitors, especially in consideration to price. I am definitely going to be considering this as my second device for gaming in addition to my Iphone 12 Pro Max, (which may I add is also insane for a gaming device with the 6GB RAM and 6.7" display. Only thing the majority of these gaming phones are lacking is a 120Hz refresh rate, which would make the device perfect in my opinion.

Xiaomi zhijia staff were extra warm hearted, welcoming and well knowledged about their new product. As I was in the showcasing store testing the k40 gaming edition and trying to download asphalt 9 game which requires several minutes to finish the process, one of their staff approached and put me a chair, saying take your time no rush.

Just tried all three colored devices in local xiaomi zhijia (xiaomi official store). Overall aestheticlly the gaming edition has done a better job. Metal frames are way more apealing than standard k40 variants plastic finishing, with sophisticated and fine paint coating which presents a more premium feel.
Display panel comes from TCL subsidiary the Huaxing Guangdian Inc. In my honest opinion, it looks better than standard K40 Samsung E4 AMOLED. No weird blueish or reddish color flares you may find on the Samsung E4 panel, when you stare at the screen from different angles.
Only downside is the TCL panels advertised peak brightness is 900 nits which may be a problem when in strong sunlight outdoor environment.
The TCL one comes with DC anti flare mode at 60fps which is currently lacking on the Samsung E4 side. Redmi development director mentioned DC switched on coexisting with 120fps in future firmware update for the MTK gaming edition.
That been said, both TCL panel and the over-hyped Samsung E4 one are all mediocre screens, you get what you pay for. They apparently are not on par these more expensive QHD panels on the Mi 11 series, by a long margin.
RAM technology is LPDDR4X, not sure its clock speed or bandwidth, didn't notice a difference compared with the standard K40 LPDDR5.
I wished they kept the snapdragon 870 chipset. I'm currently using mi mix2s and redmi k20 pro. As a former MTK MT6752 victim, I reserve my judgement on the Dimension or Dimensity 1200 or whatever the name is.

128GB rom is a joke for a gaming phone, 256GB is great, but I just want a 512GB version and that will be perfect.
