What also works as being Chinese ROM is calls recording, which has been blocked in Global/EU ROM versions for years due to US/EU laws.
This is probably the best quality/price piece of a phone in the world at the moment.

i'm tempted to buy this, the only concern i'm worried about is overheating. The lack of sd card slot, no fm radio and no audio jack problems are just weak/reasonable problems, but the poor heat control is making me doubt to buy this. Any people that can confirm/deny the heat issue?

Does it work fine without lte band 20? I'm living in Germany in a rural area and this phone is perfect but I've heard it's pretty much useless without it :/ I could buy the poco but it's a worse option and costs 200€ more. Otherwise, maybe the vivo x200 ultra oer oppo x8 ultra would be a good phone?

Can anyone in the UK/EU confirm this works with Google Pay/Wallet?
I can get one of these that had the Chinese ROM with English language and working Google Play Store.
I think I read that as long as its not on a Global ROM and has an locked bootloader then mobile payments via NFC should work fine.
But I'd like someone to actually confirm it works in the UK/EU before I pull the trigger.
I can get this for the same price as the 14T Pro, but this has a bigger battery so would much rather have this.

Guys I have the phone for 3 months now honest review; amazing battery performance amazing game performance even while charging make sure to use a cooler 20 bucks not much the screen is amazing only problem is it's small a bit if you're used to big screens it will take a few days no bugs the phone can emulate hitman absolution on winlator 70 fps it is an actual beast

4. Wh... more1. What? (Yes, you see that right. Chinese ROM my favourite that's why I added the reason)
2. What bugs? (The phone is cosplayed as a Samsung Z Flip, half the screen is black, half the screen is on. The floating window cannot be closed. Charging is always not optimal, always stuck at a certain wattage even though the phone and the charger is cold. When I change the wallpaper and then restart the phone, the wallpaper disappears. When playing certain games, sometimes there is a sound like a hair clipper you know what I mean... And one more thing, when the HyperOS 2 version was first released, I found a bug when I wanted to open the default Xiaomi application, I couldn't open it... All of this is based on my experience on HyperOS global on the Xiaomi 14T Pro which is I'm currently using right now)
3. What does it mean? (It's like if the Poco F7 Ultra's dragon is chained, while the Redmi K80 Pro's dragon is released outside of the world)
4. Which g apps is easier to uninstall on Chinese ROM? *You don't need root to do the same thing, you just need adb or another debloater using thing called adb root. (Indeed, from my experience using Redmi K60, I bought it second hand btw... I uninstalled Google, Maps, Calendar, and Chrome... I just need YouTube and G-mail back then)
5. Any comparison chart? (It's from my perspective view. I have a close door phone enthusiast neighbor who has both the Redmi K80 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, I saw a comparison of the two phones, and in my opinion the Redmi K80 Pro is better)
Goodness gracious... My fingers feels sore after typing all of this...

At least you are kind enough to share your opinion though, well... you may want to dig a little bit further on this subject.
You'll soon find out that both global and China rom are Google Android (both has same google service, which you cannot totally remove while you can remove some of g apps.

1. Chinese ROM (of course)
2. Better than Poco F7 Ultra because... well, HyperOS for Poco has a lot of bugs that I always find
3. The Poco F7 Ultra's performance is a bit restrained in my place, so the potential of the 8 Elite is not coming out. Unlike the K80 Pro, its performance is compromised
4. Makes it easier to Uninstall Google apps without root because it's Chinese rom (I only need a few: YouTube, Gmail, and Play Store. The rest are unnecessary for me like)
5. There is very little bloatware compared to the Poco F7 Ultra
6. The battery is bigger than the Poco F7 Ultra
I guess that's it... That's my personal opinion about this phone~
