Pls beware if u plan to buy from 3rd party..there are many retailers who want to make profits by selling fake Xiaomi smartphones including Redmi Note.

I just bought my REDMI 1S . The problem is my WCDMA sim is not detected but in all other mobile it is functioning perfectly.
How do I enable WCDMA SIM in my REDMI 1S for MTS network in INDIA ??

I just buy redmi note for two week. Sundenly it hang and can't touch screen. I send back to dealer, he say have comtamination on SIM card slot 2. If I drop the phone into water, why just sim slot 2 have comtam and SIM card slot 1 is ok. Them I bring back to xiaomi centre , them say have comtam and my warranty Is void... Tell me how to do??

I just buy a redmi note for two week...suddenly it hang and can't touch . Then I send to dealer , he say have some liquor or some comtamination on SIM card slot2. Then I go redmi centre, them say my warranty void. If I have get water inside the phone, why just only the slot SIM card 2 only contam. What shall I do???

I got d mob on 11th Oct. Its getting overheat more than normal when we speak for just 10minutes. Apart from that its pretty good...

The disadvantage of using FolderMount is your device has to be rooted.
But at Miui official forum side it teaches you how to root and unroot your Xiaomi Redmi Note, so it's reliable cause its from Miui Official Forum.

yesterday i bought xiaomi redmi note from ebay, look wise its good mobile, display also, speed of note is amazing
but redmi note getting overheat at top of the mobile, i can't handle more than 10 minutes, its very bad to handle, i am using dual sim, while charging mobile also get overheating

1) wifi display to tv sucks. When connected , wifi network cant be access which make streaming movie not possible. Samsung can do it otherwise.
2) use a few month, after doing a firmware update, sd card spoil which mi singapore claim update not root cause.
3)after a day of update, internal speaker spoil, cant hear the other party while calling.
4) loose charging port. I cant use my phone while charging, have to mantain it at certain angle if not will lose charge.

I've been using Redmi Note (MYS Edition)got it thru my Service Provider. In terms of performance I dont see much differences between Samsung S3 (which is my second phone now). Xiomi still fast.
Alot of ppl been asking can they move apps to SD card ?
Yes you can, 1 of the way :-
You need to copy it to ur SD card and delete from ur local storage
Battery is long lasting, can last at least one day
Way to come up but my rating is 8/10 GOOD for the budget
