I bought this device 2 years ago, I don't know why all you here talk so bad about this device but I bought this device for 199 EUR and so far it is running smoothly with no problems at all. Ofcourse I bought it from an Official Reseller in my country. Most people here write bad opinions and reviews of their fake brands who bought online. Thank you.

This is my first xiaomi phone and because of this I became a fans of xiaomi 😄 the price is moderate, functioning good even when plying high graphic game, bought it in 2014 , has no serious problem of hang or lag until now 😊 I'm very satisfied and, I'm definitely Wil get another redmi note in future 😆 I NEVER VISIT TO SERVICE CENTER UNTIL NOW AND YET IT FUNCTIONING SATISFYING 😄😄😄😄 I'M SO HAPPY THAT THE DEVELOPER CREATE THIS BRAND.

don't buy redmi handset . if you pay money for this brand its useless. it's better if you buy Samsung and moto handset. i have 5problems in 4months display and charging slot arise again handset not charging well and care service is too much poor

zero service
my suggestion pls dont buy this phone.
i have purchase redmi note 3 . (in 5 month four time problems caused)
two times display working dead, one time charging slot problems.
submitted in mi care minimum 25 days takes for any problem of related product and problem....

I had visited mi service centre as i had problem with my mi account - i had lost my password.
On submiting my phone i told the mobile engineer the issue he told he will reset my account will take 30mins for that.
When he came back he told me that he has reset my entire phone system due to which ky phone has now lost my imei number.
Anf after loosing my imei number this engineer says he will have to replace yhe mother board and that is the only possible way to get the imei back. The cost of a brand new phone is 8500 inr and replacing mother board will cost me 5300 inr according ti service centre.
After wasting my time for almost a month with visits to mi service centres and writing mails to online assistance to mi team i am not provided with any help from your team just pushing the blame on one another... Online team says to get the Service report from service centre.
Now i got my phone imei problem fixed from a local mobile repair shop and i had paid only 300/- for this....
According to mi service centre team my phone needed a motherboard replacement that will cost me 5200/-.
Mi team is so pathetic and so unprofessional just to make money you people have started cheating.. Im sure if i would have givn my phone at service centre for mother board replacement you guys would just fix the software and lie to clients saying u replaced the board.
The most pathetic unprofessional useless cheap fraud crooks are running this company.
Shame on mi service team... Shame on mi brand... Shameless people.
I will never ever buy any product of mi brand.

You can use volume button as well to unlock the phone. just activate this option in settings

Don't recommend xiao mi phone .Useless .Especially redmi note. Always get hot easily .Cannot sign in to public wifi.Snapchat always laggy .Cannot save storage to sd card even if the card is detected ?? There is ads installed in the phone ??I mean I factory restart this stupid phone around3 times and every time on the same day those goddamn ads is still there . The camera is ok .I am now not having income so I have no choice but to use this goddamn phone.I will defiantly not purchase any xiao mi phone if I am earning my own money .YUCKS
