redmi note 4g or redmi note?
4g version has dual band wifi, 4g, android 4.4 and is 185g
while without 4g version is 199g, Android 4.2, single band WiFi but has mtk6592+mali450mp4 which is better than snapdragon 400+adreno 305 of note 4g.
i am confused :(

all websites i checked say it doesn't have protective glass. just normal glass

Hai,
I am from Kerala, India. I have a plan to buy this mobile. Before that I would like to know one thing, that is is it possible to view/read MALAYALAM(language of Kerala) fonts in Face book and Whatsapp while using this mobile. I have Samsung & Sony mobiles and in these mobile I can read and write MALAYALAM and many other INDIAN fonts but it is NOT POSSIBLE with my ALACTEL Idol X+. Kindly give me a reply at the earliest.

I used to always bring a portable battery bank because my old phone runs out of battery fast, but not anymore because the Note's battery lasts the whole day and more under normal use (I'm connected to the internet 24/7 on this Redmi Note). Camera is good, churns out sharp photos with good color rendition (and pic files can automatically be saved in the optional external micro SD memory card), and so is the 5.5" screen with its HD-like display that is very good for watching movies. No lags on this smartphone even when plenty of apps have been loaded; graphics intensive game like Asphalt 8 runs smoothly. Build make is alright, plastic yes but doesn't look or feel cheap. All in all, an exceptional smartphone for its price, my only wish is that it had a bigger memory than 8 GB, although the external card option somewhat compensates for it. The MIUI interface is worth mentioning too, with its nice look & feel that has lots of customizable options. This Redmi Note is highly recommended.
