This is on another level, really.. Redmi Note 9s, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9.. After 20 days, Redmi Note 10, Redmi 10x.., those phones for India have differente name (Redmi Note 9 Pro is a Redmi Note 9 Max, and Redmi Note 9s, is Redmi Note 9 Pro).. But, best of all, half of those is not even available yet (like Redmi Note 9 with MtK G85) world wide..

Xiaomi (Redmi) has not started the design of "Redmi Note 10 Series". The real "Redmi Note 10 Series" will be launched in the 2nd half of 2020, at least several months away.

Redmi Note 10 does not exist. You can check from every official Xiaomi website. This phone does not exist. I'm sad that GSMARENA is spreading rumors about a phone that does not exist. "SPECIFICATIONS" page is only rumors, not any real info. We don't know when or if this phone will be ever released.

Their sales and branding strategy i... moreThat is an apparent contradiction only, likely they are not seeing good enough sales of the 9 pro, you can just reduce production to the size of demand and introduce something better like this but being 5g it will be more expensive and not available everywhere, in any case you can't really compete with yourself as all winnings go to the same pocket.

Strangest company ever. Their sales and branding strategy is bizarre. They're actually likely to cannibalize the sales of their own redmi note 9 pro with this phone. They're actually competing with themselves. Just ridiculous. Lmfao.

Azerox, 18 May 2020If that were true then why the the "pros" have a 64mp camer... moreSpecs on new phones get changed pretty often on here and if don't think so, this phone apparently may not even be the redmi note 10 pro at all.
Now the note 9 series come with a weak processor, so weak that the note 8 pro easily outperform it, how about that for an upgrade, that among other problems like the fingerprint sensor which was flawless in the note 8 pro, the note 9 series as you can see on here will never be as popular as the 8 or even 7 series. It only makes sense for xiaomi to put out something like this "redmi note 10 pro" or whatever it will be called with an upgraded processor plus fixes and upgrades as necessary.
BTW smaller chipset? Dot display? What in the world are you talking about.

It is designed to compete against Honor X10 (Kirin820) in Xiaomi's domestic market, not as a successor to Redmi Note 9 series. This phone may not be made immediately available for the international market. SD720G based Redmi Note 9 is more in line with what is required for the international 4G market.
Antutu v.8 for D820 is 360000+, based on previous testing sample. More recent testing samples give a result close to 400000 (Antutu v.8). The final SoC will be a compromise between performance and thermal efficiency. (Note: Antutu v.8 for Kirin820 is ~400000.)

Apparently, this phone will be called "Redmi 10X 5G", a member of Redmi 10X series. Redmi 10X series will be as follows:
1. Redmi 10X 4G: based on G85 SoC;
2. Redmi 10X 5G: Based on D820 SoC.
3. Redmi 10X 5G Pro: forthcoming.
This new Redmi 10X series will essentially be the "Redmi Note 9 Series" for Xiaomi's domestic market.

It was two month... moreThe note 9 pros lower performance SD720g, lower megapixel count, lack of NFC, slower fingerprint sensor made these phones a downgrade from the redmi note 8 pro, if they are phased out in favor of this, the dimensity 820 scores about 325000 in antutu and has 5G, since the chipset is 7nm, it will heat less than the redmi note 8 pro making it an effective upgrade. if the price is right xiaomi has with this another winner.
