MIUI 14 for this phone is just a name miui 14 and nothing new and no changes from miui 13. So why to update xiaomi??? Why?? I am now very sure after using this phone for about two years, and upgrading from miui 12 to 12.5 to 13 and now to 14 that xiaomi will never be able to eliminate the bugs from all Miui versions, they are all just new skins with veryyy minimal changes that are exclusive to shape only. Every new update, xiaomi promises that the new miui version will be the BUGS free miui version with big propaganda and leaks that turn to be just words. All third party customisation apps doesn't work with any MIUI version, like volume styles, once cleared from recent apps will stop working immediately. Also, most third party gallery apps , take a long time to load newly captured photos and some you need to exit and enter the app several times before the new images load. All these bugs was never fixed from MIUI 12 until miui 14 and will never be fixed even until MIUI 100. All the mentioned apps work just perfectly on my Samsung phone that uses the same app version and is working on the same android version but Samsung's skin not xiaimi's skin. Tooooooo bad miui.

Put dns.adguard.com .u won't got a single ad anywhere not even in chrome

My Redmi note 10 which I just got wiped recently hasn't been opening cemera and I've done all measures like clearing all data, even factory reset and it keeps closing anytime I open it. What can I do please, it's really annoying

Not a bad phone, I have mine two years now, no major issues. Good camera, good battery. It only over heat at times when you use the camera for more an hour.

john, 16 Mar 2023seriously, xiaomi? ONE android upgrade? the 10S and 10 Pro ... moreYeah, good thing Xiaomi phones are easy to bootloader unlock & got full support for custom roms like LineageOS/PixelExperience GSIs & alot more even full private with no Google spy services like carbonOS/etc.
So just go custom rom instead! They can even be more stable than Miui.

Only majority of hardware issues are those that are made in india. So avoid anything made there.

You haven't let your phone fall into the water but you might have accidentally drop it several times on the hard ground or bump the device to a hard object. Using a high wattage charger to charge your phone may cause your phone to overheat which will fry your internal components especially in a very warm weather. Use only a low wattage charger and only use the fast charger when you're in a hurry or in an emergency. Charging the device to 100% everytime isn't a good idea as well since it will degrade the battery capacity immediately. You see, you just can't say that "don't buy this phone cause the device doesn't last long". because It isn't always a faulty hardware but it's the user's responsibility to learn and observe how to properly take care of the product.

Don't buy this phone. Got one , not up to 2 years, the board got broken without falling or into water. Many xiaomi phones don't last long, they have problems of boards

After MIUI 14 update, I didn't find any of the updates they talked about like new clock UI and change apps icons and gallery extract text from photos,... It is still a MIUI 13 but named as MIUI 14 in the title only.
