There's a saying called "Don't fix it if it ain't broke" which can be applied to software updates. I'm still using MIUI 12.5.5 and never encountered issues with it ever. I'd definitely stay on this version rather than choosing a headache. Checked from a website regarding the new MIUI 14 update for RN10 and there are some anomalies which I already expected. TIP: You can update to the new software version once it's in the final stages so you can avoid messing up your phone... For those who already updated,
hope you enjoy your newly updated MIUI 14 - with some bugs!

Today my phone got MIUI 14, however, it was only around 280 MB size. I thought it would be something around 2 to 2.5 gb 😂😂 and I really think it's just a trial not the real MIUI 14, and my phone is still on android 12 not 13, won't this phone get android 13? Will it get MIUI 14 and stick to android 12? Why this MIUI update is soo small in size? For the changes until now, I can only tell there are minor minimal changes in notifications and control center that can be discarded. Otherwise, all is the same.

i rarely drop my phone and anyway there is nt any
green line from the bottom to up after screenshot

how to fix the sim signal of my phone because when I open the data it's strong for a few minutes it slows down again I can't play properly because the signal suddenly weakens too much

If the lines didn't appear on the captured image, it means it's a hardware issue and it needs screen replacement. If the lines appear on your screenshot, it's a possible software issue. You can try to check for software updates to fix issues. If the phone is already updated then you may factory reset the device but make sure to backup your files first on cloud backup services or on a computer.

This phone is actually good for its price range, you may experienced apps getting lost on your app drawer and oled screen missing pixels. But overall it's all good since I have bought a new one which has a dimensity 920, and I can tell you guys that Adreno 612 is so much better than Mali - G68 in terms of providing animations and graphics . The only problem with Sd 678 is the thermals which I haven't yet encounter in Dimensity 920 . Source : trust me bro

botto... moreYour RN10 may need to get screen display replacement. This happens when you accidentally drop your phone or bump it to a hard object regardless of the display type (IPS, TFT, AMOLED). Even iPhones get these lines issues on their screens and the solution is to replace the display.

can anybody kindly tell me why a green line from the
bottom to the top appeared on my note 10 suddenly
so it happened 3days ago but the night before it
appeared i was still using it without any line on it
&i have 12 smartphones and nothing like this ever
happened but 11 of them are ips screens not oled
so does this thing usually happens to oled screens

One of the biggest problems all MIUI versions face is the compatibility with third party apps. Like third party gallery apps don't load photos instantly and take long time than normal to load new photos. Also, all customization apps like volume styles or control center apps stop immediately as they are cleared from recent apps even though all permissions and accessibility settings are permitted. Every new Miui version promise to solve this buggy issue and don't fix. I hope MIUI 14 will try to do something about that.
Regardless of the bug explained above, this phone with such specs and hardware like Snapdragon processor and camera and battery and everything, I don't think any company, even sameung, can offer such a phone at this price range. Honestly, after two years of using this phone, I only hate the big stated above about xiaomi and I hope it can be fixed with MIUI 14.
Pleaasse xiaomi fix this issue.
