I said that amoled screens cause ME eyestrain and give me headaches and also other people suffer the same and that companies should acknowledge this! It is my OPINION I didn't say everyone has to agree and many people prefer amoled screens which is fine coz there's plenty more important things going off in the world at the moment to be concerned about! Look up the words opinion and context before accusing someone of trolling next time!

Phonies, 28 Apr 2021headache is probably because you're sensitive to PWM a... moreIt's not just cheap amoled screens it's ALL amoled screens, they all give me eyestrain and headaches and while it may not affect everybody im certainly not the only one when I read through the comments. Also contrary to popular belief amoled screens only consume less power if they have a black background. If you use a brightly coloured wallpaper it consumes more power than an lcd as it needs to light up more pixels. They are also more prone to damage and more expensive AND they do suffer burn in too. But apart from all that I actually like looking at an LCD screen simply because I think it looks better!

I'm an owner of Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime and oh boy this phone is still serving me well but it's been a while now...
As usual I've been looking for the best package listed on a paper that I can get for lowest price. I've been following this phone as a potential replacement for a while now and decided to purchase it today on the first sale day following the official site that redirected me to a seller on AliExpress.
Waiting for the device to arrive and really hope that I've secured at least another 3 years having all top end features and performance packaged in one nice reasonably priced phone.

so this having a less capable SOC and smaller ram offerings, has better band coverage than the mi11 lite 5g or even the flagship mi11 itself, or the poco f3/redmi k40 variants....and a nice 5000maH battery so confusing Xiaomi product offerings lol designed to obfuscate

IPS LCD is way nicer to look at to me and has less problems than amoled and is cheaper which is just an added bonus. Enough with all this amoled is the best blah blah blah all the time from phone reviewers.

Mr Architect, 15 Apr 2021I would had definitely purchased this one only if it came w... moreContrary to popular belief mostly brought about by reviewers pushing amoled as the best screen tech, not everyone prefers amoled screens. I've used both and amoled hurts my eyes and gives me a headache and I personally look for phones with IPS LCD screens now as to me they look much better and don't hurt my eyes. I wish more phones would give a LCD option and before anybody says you can't have an aod on an lcd screen check out the Nokia Lumia 920 from 2014 and the LG g5 from about 2016/7, both IPS LCD and both with aod screens.
