I don't think this note 10 pro has a proximity sensor. I think they are using other sensors to compensate.

Hey guys, I know the Note 10 Pro has a less than perfect Proximity Sensor, but you can try calibrating it. Go to Settings, Tap on "About Phone, Tap on "All Specs, 3 taps on Kernel Version. Look for Proximity Sensor and tap it. It will give you instructions on what to do. Basically you have to put your hand on the sensor and lift it up. Than Press the blue button on the bottom say PASS. See if it helps. Mine got a lill better and more responsive when making calls.

just got mine yesterday.. then updated it to its latest version.. so far i don't have any problems with it tho..
gaming is good w/ 120hz but some games don't support it
yet but overall performance is good..
camera is good but lacks stability on 4k
taking video during night is kinda bad.. its too dark but in
photo night mode is good..

Can anybody explain the difference between note 10 pro and max version apart from one having Amoled and other Super amoled...how is the phone in daily usage as i can see so many people are complaining of proximity sensor and screen turning black issues...is it worth to spent 20k on any one of this or pick Nord 2

Anyone else experiencing two dark stripes vertically in some applications when in dark mode? E.g. WhatsApp, 9GAG.
It's clearly visible from top to bottom that there are two darker lines in dark mode. It's very sad because I liked the phone but this is frusturating. I'm going to ask for a refund.

When the phone in dark mode, we can clearly see that two darker stripes lies from top to bottom in some applications. Especially when the background is not completely dark but like very dark green (WhatsApp) or gray. It's frusturating that I'm probably going to ask for a refund. Very sad, I liked the phone.

The phone has serious problems when used for calls, all thanks to the extremely poor proximity sensor. Too bad! I no longer even believe that it is possible to solve it with updates. I hope Xiaomi convinces me otherwise. By the way, I absolutely agree everything else is above average, of course for that money.

Got this phone about a month ago from Walmart, International model, I had issues with the proximity sensor and after updating to MIUI 12.5, the issue remains, so I am now assuming that it is a hardware problem and cannot be remedied via software updates. Other that that the phone works fine.
Any ideas in settings, on what to do with the proximity sensor? When I lift up the handset to respond to an incoming call, the screen stays lit, when it supposed to dark out. weird

Bought about two months ago. Having proximity sensor iasue but major issue is front camera not openning at all since after 7 days of buying and rear camera gives error after taking one photo every time. Have reset it but issues still pending. Any help?

Worried about the negative comments before buying? Do not! I bought this phone last week, left it at the firmware it came with, removed all bloatware using the Xiaomi ADB tool, and the phone is fantastic. Screen is superb, camera quality is great, it does not lag, and I just got 76 hours of battery life (!) with my relatively light usage. I am coming from a Pixel 2 and the quality of this phone is much better for a fraction of the Pixel 2's original price. If you can live with the shorter support life cycle of this phone, it is heavily recommended.

The phone is amazing, I dont know why are people complaining about it. Im using the phone for the last couple of months and everything works fine.It never lags on me, the battery life is superb, the screen is amazing and the camera is awesome. For what you are paying this is an amazing phone.

The phone also has a fm radio that is a very good feature as well as a explosive size battert 5000mah and charging fast enough to stop a stagecoach bus from starting and making the bus driver ask you to temportarly unplug it so he can start the engine and alternator. Did I mention this phone has 108 gigapixels and it runs MUIUIUIUI which is the best operating system on a phone ( much better than coloros ).

If the phone can't even work properly like ma... moreAbout 90% I bet people buy phones to daily drive it and also make calls, I wouldn't see much of a purpose if you buy a phone to not make calls with your sim card. Even kids starting at age around 7-10 or 13 and above using smartphones for their own purposes but can also make calls properly.
