After using xiaomi products all this while, I can only use one sentence to describe xiaomi, "Jack of all trade, master of none." They are not great at anything. There products look great on the outside but it can never give you a satisfying experience. I still cannot believe that my mi 10t pro, as expensive as it is, has screen burn-in out of the box.

My advice to you is not to run the update after purchase. Just make sure you turn off the automatic updates so you don't have any unpleasant surprises.

I noticed screen burn_in my redmi note 8 and thn i upgrade go redmi note 9 and it also has screen burn_in plus screen bleeding around the punch hole which was common in all note 9. It was my fav brand but not now. Screen burn_in and screen bleeding is very common issue in redmi phones. Redmi phones are look like value for money but there are so many compromises on quality specially wd the display and camera. I m really disappointed. I guess realme is better in term of overall quality and next time i will go with realme instead of redmi. its just my experience/opnion. Thank u!

yes i am telling the truth..no fake/ cheat/ sabotage/ kind of feedback comments regarding this phone problems.. the battery drain like CRAZY HELL.. now is getting worse.. the biggest headache ..just 2 month it behave like 2 years old phone!
what I want is how revert back to factory stock rom 12.0.10.. resetting the device will not get it back as i know..

I've been using this phone for 2 weeks now, 8/128 variant, no complaints, super great battery life, very smooth and I think so far, it's the best device I've used in recent times. WHY? BECAUSE I'M YET TO UPDATE THE PHONE. Lol I think new buyers should not update the phone and just stick with the stock OS. I mean to avoid these problems, it's probably the best not to update the phone at phone at. I deactivated auto update immediately I bought the phone so yeah, I think it makes sense that way.
I'm so sad to hear about people complaining after updating their devices. The software engineers really messed it up for some of us but well, if you can restore your factory settings, I think that will probably revert the updates and get the phone working well again.
So sorry to hear about these complaints guys. Xiaomi will probably do better with time.

my situation last night.. my phone just resting without any physical touch, ONLY wifi & LTE signals were turned on..
started with 91% of battery capacity at 10.30p.m. ... until next morning (today).. at 7.30a.m. when i start to check my work task, the battery meter showing 81% !!!
what the hell is going on with this phone.. 10% energy lost with unknown!!!? after stu-pid JUNKmiui 12.5, this phone totally a JUNK and not worth at all for $220!!
Now i do understand why Xiaomi advertised this phone battery as so huge 5020mAh.. but actually the real capacity is far lower... plus with totally-JUNK-MIUI12.5.. this phone really not worth anymore to keep.
huge battery just their marketing hype..to take over their rivals potential buyers.. at the moment.
there are NO SUCH battery manufacturer in the world will design or produce an extra 20mAh into a 5000mAh.. but only Xiaomi brave enough CHEATING users and GSMArena by their FAKE battery capacity..
with the teardown videos around by utubers.. the physical size of built-in battery inside RN10P with current LiPo tech, it just only not more than 4500mAh capacity.. Xiaomi totally had fooled us!!

most of people facing problems when using gadget also may keep their unsatisfaction and frustration until they end up by changing to other model or brand.
Just a minority of unsatisfactory people will try to address the problems.
