Redpex, 19 Mar 2021Mine seems to have a problem with the screen flickering whe... moreFurther experimenting with this issue at 120Hz, I noticed that lowering the screen brightness to around 50% or below, the flickering doesn't seem to be happening. But as soon as I raise it up a bit, to any value between ~55% 100% it starts pulsing again.

Mine seems to have a problem with the screen flickering when used at 120Hz. It's not very noticeable but I can spot an occasional very quick blink (like miliseconds) of the lighting in most the area screen, and it keeps happening every 2 or 3 seconds. More easy to spot when using a darker/grey colored app. At 60Hz it doesn't seem to happen (settings are 60 and 120, there's no 90Hz middle option).
Saw a review on Youtube and the reviewer also reported that same kind of strange slight screen flickering... so this doesn't seem to be an isolated case.
I'm wondering if pushing 120Hz into these amoled screens was a bit too much to ask from them, and if 90Hz would be more safe/stable. Either that or some early batch of these screens / phones might have defects.

The battery of the phone is not removable, although this is mid-end smartphone, almost all new smartphone have unibody design right now.

I am working with xiaomi for last 4 years. And i am really a big fan of my company not because of my working with them. But because of their quality and commitment. I have received hardly 2% warranty claims in last four years.

man why did Xiaomi use 732g instead of 720g just like Samsung on their new a series lineup 732g cost 20 USD more per chip according to the OEM manufacturing stats yet you don't get faster speed other than GPU clock speeds they could've used 720g and saved 20 USD to make the volume button metal so it has a premium feeling and used the exact same speaker setup on poco x3 NFC redmi note 10 pro (MAX) is lacking bass im an audiophile and photographer also a hardcore gamer so these problems I mentioned are a huge concern for me, not a deal-breaker just a concern I could agree that Xiaomi has delivered a good product but their still making substandard decisions

The A52/A72 5G doesn't compete with the RN10 Pro, because it's obvious, $280 vs $500+, it's a different range of price. But for $500+ budget, I prefer the Redmi K40 Pro, has an SD 888 with 5G and 8K video recording.
