Other ways to do that is through custom recovery or via root.

I think the reason why the split screen is not working is because MIUI 14/android 13 allow u to open two windows with the addition already open window..... meaning u can manage 3 apps at the same time.

After the update till MIUI 14 and factory reset everything works fine except the font's on the home screen. After restart the letters are getting really big . Signs like messenger can't fit . The dpi it's stuck at 384 no matter what.
No other complains but this is annoying and Xiaomi probably will not going to fix that.

That's just stupid given the long list of CVEs in old Android versions. MIUI 14 runs fine and my phone still just requires ~17% of battery per day with moderate use. However, I had to disable 10 new apps after the update and didn't find a way to deinstall that useless "Game Center". The reason people are complaining about degrading battery performance is typically in front of the phone. They install more and more apps over time with all the tracking bullshit in the background and never cleanup/configure their systems.
