Booby, 30 Oct 2022With bigger internal memory SD card slot no longer needed, ... moreIt's 256GB vs 128GB + 512GB (which is the max sdxc capacity supported by Note 10 Pro), and midrange smartphones nowadays usually support 1TB memory cards. Note 12 Pro+ is a poor choice if you need storage. I know I won't be buying it as I like to listen to my music offline.

Booby, 30 Oct 2022With bigger internal memory SD card slot no longer needed,
... moreWhat makes you think expandable storage is no longer need just because of large internal storage?
What if the phone bricks, then you wouldnt be able to access important files that is saved internally & worse if the phones need to be wiped or reset. All of this will be a no issue with SD Card having them saved there, so when the phone bricks or need repair, just pop out the sd card & plug it in to another device to access the files.
Oh wait, but theres cloud storage. Guess what! Internet is not so reliable or available everywhere, worse is Data Cap & Data Corruption when the internet gets cutoff or gets lost suddenly. Good if your at home using Wifi, but travelling alot with Mobile Data aint reliable.
Dont also forget that apps are getting larger & bloated over the years & if you do alot of videos or photos your internal storage will fill up faster than you know it! So having SD Card(upto 1TB or even more) helps alot.

i will be selling my realme phone soon, and most likely next i will buy this. some of my friends have redmi 10 and 10c smartphones, and everything is working fine. it seems redmi is the most decent choice for its price range when compared to other brands.

bbkoopsta, 29 Oct 2022It's a good phone however I noticed few things Batter... moreusing the global version with EU-ROM and MIUI13 and i cannot confirm your observations. Powerbutton is solid, the fact that phone sometimes gets warm can be viewed positive ... the heat is dissipated to the outside and does not stay in the phone. IMHO one should always update to the next higher version when offered. one day it will be forced anyway. At least on global EU - ROM there are only minor bugs, also on latest MIUI13, no problems. The only slight annoyment is still the proximity-sensor which is not always reliable, at least on my model, but i can live with that.

Battery drains quickly! Power button seems flimsy, gets hot quickly! Rather than that it's a good phone
Advice DO NOT UPDATE It! There's so many bugs on MIUI 13

I have seen too many posts of the same issues, not recognizing sim1&2 and sd card, front cam is dead and worst of all no Audio throughout the device (your phone is a brick that has a screen). Most of the bugs comes from the Global and Indian version of the ROM after updating to MIUI 13. I saw this post somewhere that says "If it works it works" and said that his RN10PRO still in 12.5.9 and is doing fine. I hope that in the future updates especially that we're going to have android 13&14 with this device its going to be 100% stable or at least no annoying bugs like those mentioned before. I mean come on a smartphone with no audio??

jayzap, 26 Oct 2022Mine was auto-rebooting while using it was the first issue,... moreI had the same issue that you are facing and worst of all after MIUI 13.0.8 it destroyed the Dolby feature and thus destroying the Audio. Better send it the service center to have it fixed. I sent mine luckily warranty was still okay, they replaced the motherboard and i just found out that my ROM is now the European version of MIUI.

Anonymous, 22 Sep 2022You better take it to your nearest service center. Next pro... moreMine was auto-rebooting while using it was the first issue, once a day at least. then 2nd issue was the front camera, then I noticed the audio was not working anymore and then after that, it will not recognize your sim and memory card. lastly, the reboot happens more often as every time you try to open your phone it will just reboot. I'm not a tech person and the only thing I did was to factory reset the phone but it didn't fix any of the issues. I hope it will get fixed once I bring it to the service center. That was the plan, I'm still saving money because I bet it will cost a lot.
